"Splash!", Fumwi jumped in time to avoid the flying mud by the roadside, the offender sped on looking through his rear mirror, grinning,
Fumwi knew it earlier that walking through this street, he'll have himself drenched before he reached the gym,it rained last night and he hated the idea of using the city buses, the noises, the vehicles blaring horns, the smells..."oh stop it!".He muttered.
But nothing was more irritating than his sister, she was troublesome, another bus came roaring near the corner again and snapped Fumwi out of his thoughts,he watched as the bus tyres squeeze the brown mud and sent them flying around. He hissed and walked carefully this time.....
"He said the kids at school laughs at him dear, because he is short and can't play basketball with them".
" Leave the poor child alone Catherine,he is still growing".
" But,he cries all the time and won't concentrate on his studies".
" Cathy dear, our children are going to be heroes of our city, they would do well,I know". Catherine banged on the table in fustration,"Dave don't tell me you believed that crap that man told us?.
Davern Werner was looking at himself at the living room mirror, adjusting his tie,his visibly angry wife looked on.The room hung in a hovering silence,it was two thirty in the afternoon ,the children will come back from school any time now...
"Answer me,Dave?".
Dave sighed and held his wife on her shoulders.
"Yes Cathy,I believe them".....
