A'ight! Here we go again!

<Li Yifei>

'WHAT HAVE I DONE? WHAT HAVE I FREAKING DONE?!' Yifei thought, but you know, as it always goes, your mind only ever thinks such bullshit whenever it's already too late.

On another note, this same mind went elsewhere upon seeing the Buzz Lightyear meme-based bedsheet cover that she gave as a present for Jinhae a couple of years ago.

She goes, 'Awww~ He still uses it!'

But, no shit, girl! You're dry humping on top of Buzz Lightyear's face right now, with JINHAE RIGHT ON TOP OF YOU!

'Mind, calm down,' she repeats her mantra. 'Mind, calm the hell- why is he so hard?!'

Then, she started to panic, her heart doing cartwheels, ricochets, and pirouettes. Jinhae had started to kiss her. He began on her bare neck, promptly making her toes curl up with shock. Yep, definitely because of shock.

Then, his kisses came with the mellow, rocking movements as they swayed on top of Buzz Light- Ok, that was too much.

But as his lips neared ever closer towards her own, her breaths became more labored.

"My first kiss!" she screamed... out loud.

Jinhae stopped moving altogether, his body frozen as though someone had clicked the pause button on the remote.

And just like that, the magic was gone.

"J-Jinhae?" Yifei asked, her breath coming out in small pants.

The young man cursed again, his dilated eyes focusing. Staring at her, he suddenly spoke out in a deep, husky voice, "This wasn't a dream?!"

---

<Kim Jinhae>

Multiple times, he cursed himself in his mind. The scenario was too perfect, too erotic, that he had no doubts that it was nothing but a dream.

But, boy, was he wrong!

Taking in the real-to-touch pink cheeks and red lips of the breathless girl right under him, whom he was just kissing, whom he was just shoving his hard as stone piece of-

Shit!

"Sorry!" he screamed, immediately getting back up from the bed and scrambling away from her, pushing himself up against the wall, as though he was steering clear out of a vile monster's way. He began to play with his hair, pulling at it, just the way he always did when he got anxious. "Shit. What the hell was wrong with me? I'm sorry... Gosh, what the hell!"

At first, Yifei didn't move from her spot at all, her hands thrusted up and her toes all curled up. Jinhae had to force himself to look away from her. Then, she finally moved.

Inching herself up slowly into a sitting position, she then waited until Jinhae looked back at her eyes. She then said, "I'm the one who started it, so shut up. Brew up some tea. This is going to take a long time to explain."

---

<Li Yifei>

'Jinhae already knows about my visions, so this will be easy to explain, right?' she thought.

Once again, her mind had gone dreaming nonsense once again.

"The... what?!" Jinhae said as he clutched onto the sofa's pillow, and blew at his tea.

Yifei sighed dramatically. "Yes, the end of the world. I don't know for sure. My visions this time were way more vague than usual. All I saw were buildings burning, people screaming..."

"Maybe it's just a gasoline station blowing up? You know, like back then in 2069?" Jinhae asked, his face still a mask of disbelief.

She glared at him. "No, it's not. Besides, usually the visions only show the bad things that might kill me, right? But this time, I saw a whole lot of other places on fire. Entire cities in chaos. I saw the Eiffel Tower finally crashing down. I saw the Leaning Tower of Pisa come straight back up!"

"Damn, that is serious..." he murmured, finally beginning to show signs that he believed in her. Behind him, the holographic television blared with the news, showing mundane coverages of new AI robotics and the common family murder. However, she couldn't be bothered with the news, even if the end of the world was coming.

In front of her was the man she loved, and he seemed to believe in her...

Repeatedly looking at how he looked grave and serious, Yifei suddenly felt an assault of emotions. Her parents were in a business trip abroad, having a fun time of business and sight-viewing, but now... She might never see them again. But no, she could never tell them what she saw, even if they somehow came to believe her. That would only make them panic. That would only...

Tears started to form in her eyes.

She almost never showed her secret emotions to Jinhae, or to anyone, really. She was an expert on hiding her feelings. When her family has a tough patch, she hides it away with dirty jokes. When she suddenly finds Jinhae too cute to be true, she keeps her feelings secret by punching him hard in the gut.

L'il things like that.

But, now, when tomorrow isn't even a constant anymore, she found herself throwing that part of her away. She faced her closest friend with her emotions on full display.

"Y-You're the only one I have right now," Yifei cried out. "I don't wanna die alone."

<Kim Jinhae>

Kim Jinhae was screwed.

He was suddenly thrown at with pure emotions from the one person he absolutely can't live without. But she was his friend. He was her friend. They were bestfriends.

But he couldn't help it, even if he never thought of her as anything but a friend. He leaned over the short, glass table, ever careful not to tip over the cups of tea, and kissed her tears away.

If what Yifei told him was true, then they were all screwed. Besides, deep down, he knew Yifei would never lie to him. In truth, he had had doubts about her "visions", but he also knew how she had an abnormally great number of close calls with death.

And now, looking at her blushing red cheeks and tear-filled eyes, eyes that told him that she trusted him so completely, he thought that it was at least a little bit okay, even if it is the end.

His life was fucked over, and he never got to do anything that he really loved, but...

At least he could cross off one box out of his bucket list.

He kissed her cheeks gently as she closed her eyes, giving fleeting butterfly kisses over her soft eyelids and down her button nose. For a long moment, he hovered over her lips, choosing to open his eyes, wanting to see her.

'Will she like it?' he thought. 'It is her first kiss, after all.'

He probably took too long, because she opened her eyes again. She was smiling when she said, "I love you."

And the sirens went off, but to hell with all that, because she was kissing him, and he was kissing her. While the news frantically changed into images of frantic reporters shouting madly into their microphones, Jinhae and Yifei were busy making love.

While the ground shook and the tides of hundred meter high waves came crashing down onto the city, they had taken their clothes off and panted into the night, their breaths labored, their rhythms matching. So many years they knew each other, and yet too many things they still didn't know.

Jinhae tasted her in a frenzy, his squinted eyes taking her all in.

Perhaps he said it, or maybe he didn't, but as their moans joined together and their foreheads touched as they breathed hard against each other, his thoughts came only into three words.

"I love you."

Oops.

Damn, that was emotional...

(If you liked it too, add it to your library please~~~)

P.S. The tea cups never stood a chance. They spilled marvelously onto Jinhae's 10-year old carpet.
