5 Chapter 4

"Aw! Miley!", sita ni Anya sa kanya.

"Sorry".

We're here sa condo ko for our last sleepover together. Sa iisang kama lang kami lahat nakahiga. Ewan ko kung bakit nagsisiksikan kami dito where in fact pwede naman kaming maglatag sa sahig.

Sigh.

"I'll miss this", aniya Miley.

Natahimik kaming lahat. I'm starting to get emotional. These girls were all became my sisters and became a big help in my college life. Ang bilis ng panahon. I heard Goldie released a big sigh.

"It all started dahil lang sa isang earring", Charmaine said.

"Pag-uusapan ba talaga na 'tin 'to?", sabi ni Kiyana.

"Of course, we all met just because of your stupidity", sabi ni Anya.

Nagtawanan kami. I remember the scene.

"'Yon 'yong nakasalubong ko siya sa park na yumuyuko habang may hinahanap", sabi ni Miley.

"At nagtaka ka kaya ka lumapit sa 'kin", sabi ni Kiyana.

It was during our second year in college when we met. I was in a park that time. Kiyana lost her right earring. I was reading a book not far from their position. Kiyana and Miley caught my attention kaya lumapit ako at tinanong sila. I don't know but I still offered a hand to help, the earring was a gift to Kiyana from her deceased father. So, yeah, it's important to her. Hanggang sa dumating na sina Anya at Miley. Magkakilala na sila nong time na 'yon. Tumulong na din sila. And Charmaine that time is having a date with her boyfriend na ex na niya ngayon still tumulong narin siya at 'yong bf niya noon. We spent an hour but nothing is happening, hindi namin mahanap ang earring ni Kiyana. Kiyana was crying that time. We were all afraid for her. While looking at her I saw something shiny and sparkling tangled in her hair. It's her earring. She was very happy that time and we were smiling at her. That's when our friendship started.

Actually, I thought it was just a mere crossing of roads but destiny played and we met again. Sa isang concert for a cause. I'm all alone na pumunta don. Kiyana saw me alone kaya she accompanied me. That's when we saw Miley and Anya. After a while, nakita namin si Charmaine with the same bf, na ex na ngayon, na nakilala namin nong first day. And si Goldie na sa stage as one of the performers sa concert na 'yon.

Having true friends in this world full of fake people, it is great to meet one. And I met not just one but five of them. These people beside me will always and always be part of my story, my life. Nakakalungkot lang isipin na maghihiwalay na kaming lahat because kailangan na naming maghanap ng trabaho for our family and for our future. I wish them happiness, though.

"Hey, let's do camping again sometime", sabi ni Anya. "I miss exploring outdoor activities", she added.

"Sometime. Aalis na kasi 'yong iba dito", sabi ni Goldie.

"Basta, keep in touch tayo lagi. Kung may problema, sabihin niyo agad", sabi ni Charmaine.

Sana nga. I know after this day we will live our own lives away from each other. May kanya-kanya ng trabaho at buhay. There will be new friends, new environment, new people at mag babago na lahat ng nakasanayan.

"You know guys, after this moment we all gonna be busy with our own lives, with our jobs. I can't assure that we will always stay like this forever but I know I can't forget all of you. We should try our best to connect kahit once in a week lang", sabi ko sa kanila.

"Ito nalang, we will talk about our 'connection time' once we will really land na our jobs and of course kung aalis na din 'yong pupuntang ibang bansa para ma monitor niyo ang time slot niyo", sabi ni Miley.

"Okay, game", sabi ni Anya. Tumango na din kami bilang pagsang-ayon.

"Pingi ng foreigner ha?", sabi ni Charmaine. Sabay siko sa 'kin.

"I'll try", sarcastic kong sagot sa kanya.

It was around, 1:00 in the morning when we decided to sleep. Malaki 'yong kama but we're six so para talaga kaming tinapa dito sa sikip. But, it's okay. Last na 'to eh. Matagal pa ulit bago namin 'to magagawa. I hugged Kiyana as tight as I could, siya kasi 'yong katabi ko. She then held my face. Magkakaroon kaya ako ng mga kaibigan sa Amsterdam? Kahit 2 weeks lang ako don as a tourist? Sigurado na 'yong alis ko. Approve na ng company and all expenses were paid by the company. Kala mo naman ako ang pinakasikat na writer sa opisina. Narinig ko ang bahagyang hilik ni Kiyana kaya napatingin ako sa kanya. I'll miss this dork.
