35 Chapter 33

Seeing the huge bloody body of the wolf in the middle of the forest, neither had any idea how to transport it back to town.

"Tom"

"What?"

"Take it, I'm hurt." And after saying this, Allan fell back on the ground.

"ARE YOU JOKING RIGHT? RIGHT? " He yelled at Allan in exasperation.

"There's no other way, I can't even move-" Allan started, but he couldn't continue.

"Problem solved" Tom said as he shoved a health potion down his windpipe.

Cough cough

"ARE YOU CRAZY?" yelled Allam while Tom ignored him.

"You're fine, now help me" Tom said as he began to move the wolf's body.

Allan could only reach over and pick him up with him while he thought of something else.

"Hey"

"What happens? Now I'm busy" said Tom as he grabbed the animal's legs.

"Don't you think there may be something valuable in the cave?" Allan asked as he carried on his hind legs.

"Nah, what's going to have a wolf that might interest us? If you have time to ask stupid questions, use more force" said Tom as they advanced little by little with more than two hundred kilos on their backs.

"Besides, I've already looked while you were distracting him, there is absolutely nothing that is useful" said Tom

"WHAT"

"Oe, Oe, don't move we are going to fall" said Tom as he began to stagger.

"YOU WERE LOOKING FOR LOOT WHILE I WAS RISKING MY LIFE" Allan was furious.

"It was just a moment-Oe, Oe, don't move"

POOF

In the middle of the forest, in the middle of the night, something sounded that woke up the incredulous creatures of the forest and buried two very stupid humans.

...

The night had passed and a new day was welcome in Idle Online. In one of the many towns that plague Tutorial Island, guards who had been up all night anxiously waited for their fellow shift changers to arrive so they could go to sleep.

The night shift is one of the hardest, not only are there problems with visibility, which makes work difficult, but it is also the time when the town is more vulnerable so the guards must be alert at all times and react to any threat as quickly as humanly possible, otherwise lives could be at stake in an emergency.

Suddenly one of the guards saw something in the distance, pointed to his partner and they waited to see what it was about.

Even if you see something unusual, it is not advisable to raise the alarm until you identify whether it is an enemy or not, otherwise there can be very serious consequences.

Little by little the figure got bigger, and when the guards could see what it was, they were stunned. For a moment the guards thought that fatigue was playing tricks on them.

In the distance two guys could be seen carrying a giant wolf on their back, they were both out of breath and it looked like they were going to pass out at any moment.

"Phew, we're finally here" Allan sighed in relief as he stared at the city gates.

"Shut up, uff, I don't want to hear a word from you, uff, I'm the one who does all the work" said Tom.

"It's not my fault I don't have more strength," Allan replied as he carried a part of the wolf.

"Shut up," Tom said again.

"Besides, we're almost at the-"

"SHUT UP!" Tom replied as he released the animal and dropped it on Allan.

...

"What have they done?" Captain Smith asked as he looked up from the documents he was working on to hear what Instructor Barris had to say.

"Those two bums have brought the carcass of a wolf into town in full view, how dare they shame the town's soldiers like that." Barris said as he explained the situation.

"I see. Tell me, instructor Barris, in your opinion you think they could hunt such prey" asked Smith after hearing what Barris said.

For the first time the instructor did not answer, but he thought about it carefully, he knew that if the captain asked him this question it could not be simple.

"It is possible, but I see it very difficult, both are too young and have not experienced what a beast like that can do. That said, I don't see any other possible explanation, since I don't see that either of us could hunt such an animal separately" Barris replied after a minute.

"Not even Tom." The instructor's response really surprised him. After all, the guards receive a very demanding training, if Tom is not able to hunt that animal alone there is no reason to think that he could do it with the help of someone weaker.

"No" said the instructor without a doubt. "Recruit Tom is too reckless and he has not joined us for too long, it would most likely be that if Tom faced that beast he would have a 50% chance of survival"

The captain did not doubt the instructor's judgment, he had enough experience to know that what he said was true.

Do not underestimate the beasts of the forest, all the inhabitants of nature are strong warriors who have survived more than one battle from the moment they were born, even with the training of the guards a 50% chance is enough.

"Thank you instructor Berris, you can retire," Smith said.

"Sir" the instructor gave a salute and left the room.

For a moment the room was silent.

"What do you think?" the captain asked Eric that he was also in the room.

"It's growing faster than we thought," said the vice-captain.

"True, but that's not bad. Have you received a response from those above? " Captain Smith said.

"Yes, the information we have given them has been useful, apparently they want to start recruiting outsiders" said Eric as he frowned while though about the attitude of the messengers of the officer.

"It's too early," Smith said as he reflected. "Apparently the temptation of an immortal army is impressive to understand that putting a lot of unknown elements in the army can lead to problems"

"There's one more thing," Eric said as he looked at the captain.

"Mn?" Smith arched an eyebrow as he waited for the vice-captain.

"They want us to send Allan to them, I have tried to convince them that we still have to do more tests, but those at the top think that is enough and they want to take him to the peninsula"

"Understandable, after all we haven't provided them with anything useful for three months. Those guys don't know the meaning of waiting. All right, what city are you sending it to? "

"Gorn City"

...

As Allan lay back on the inn bed, he couldn't help but feel relieved. All those months of training were not in vain.

He had done it, he had accomplished his goal.

Allan lay back on the bed and fell asleep.

Or he would have if there wasn't a bright spot in the corner of the screen indicating unread notifications.

Allan wanted to know if he had managed to raise his skill to intermediate level.

[Congratulations! Due to your actions you have unlocked a new title]

For a moment Allan's face was pale, he and he had enough problems with titles, he did not need another.

Still, he knew the problems weren't going to go away by not looking at him. All he could do is open it.

Big hunter

Hunters are people of a noble profession who go deep into the woods to earn a living.

One of the most important things a hunter must know is his limits.

You are not like that. Where others see limits you see possibilities, and where others see madness you see challenges.

The most impressive thing of all is that, after many difficulties, you achieve what you set out to do.

Predators Will feel wary about you.

Nice.

That´s all Allan could thing the moment he saw the title, at least was not another Unlucky title.

Unfortunately, there was only that notification, which means his swordsmanship was still at level 9.

Having enough emotions for one day Allan closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Knock knock

"I'm never going to sleep, am I?" Allan said as he got up to open the door.

In front of him was a very angry Sara

"What do you think you're doing putting that wolf's body in front of the inn?"

"Look, I'm sorry but I'm very tired now, can we move it later?"

"Do you really think I'm going to let that bug make my clients disappear? I don't care where you leave it but I don't want to see it" Sara said with her arms crossed.

"And I will but later"

Apparently Allan had forgotten one of the most basic rules by which our society works, without which the world as we know it would cease to exist and chaos and hysteria would reign; never make a woman wait.
