Just when Jiang Qian was busy with his thoughts, he heard the system.
"Eh? I already accumulated enough cultivation base?"Jiang Qian checked quickly. It was indeed true. In order to breakthrough to Qi Gathering II, 11 CB was needed and he had already accumulated 30 CB when he was lost in thoughts.
"Breakthrough" He said and then he could feel a rush of energy flowing in his body. Just like that, he was now in Qi Gathering II.

It was a game named Immortal Taoist which players can cultivate to ascend to heaven and the stats are exactly like this. Life essence is for attack, dexterity is for speed and evasion, strength is for defence, vital energy is for health, perception is for cultivation efficiency and absorption is for gaining more Qi. If this is exactly the same in the system, it would mean he got the Immortal Taoist game as his system???
Jiang Qian rubbed his temple as he remembered playing Immortal Taoist before his transmigration. 'I accidentally brought the game with me?' He thought. 'Well, I'll know if I check for myself.'
Thus, he checked his stats again. This time, he found that it was exactly the same as he thought. That means he had a rough understanding of the system. If he was not mistaken, there was an option for managing his spiritual roots and learning skills. He was not sure how to open it in this system, though.

"So there is merit system instead of wood and stones." Jiang Qian frowned. But, after a moment, he said. "Upgrade Qi gathering array."
'Qi Gathering Array is upgraded to Level 2. Maximum Qi storage is now 400. Current Qi : 62/400. Qi generation rate is 31 per 5 seconds (including absorption rate). Do you want to learn mantras to increase absorption rate?'

'Transporting Host to Spirit Jade Hall. Please wait..'
A few seconds later, he was standing in front of a huge building. It has a sign hung at the entrance door which says "Spirit Jade Hall". Jiang Qian entered and saw a few books, herbs and other items. He also saw a staircase which was covered by mist. He assumed that his current level is too low to access the upstairs.
Jiang Qian stood in front of a mantra book. Its price was 1 spirit jade which is the cheapest here. He looked at his inventory and found he only has 10,000 spirtual stones and 1,000 buns. He was so broke! Since he did not have any spirit jade, he naturally couldn't buy a thing here. Thus, he could only put the mantra back and return.
Jiang Qian was salty about not being able to buy the mantra. But, it's not like he could do anything right now. He just hoped he found a way to get spirit jades soon.
"Let's just go back to check my cultivation base. Since it has been about five minutes, I should have enough Qi to breakthrough." Jiang Qian muttered, then, opened his cultivation tab.

With a rush of Qi flowing through his body, he managed to breakthrough to Qi Gathering III. But he still had excess Qi to breakthrough to another stage.

He breakthrough to Qi Gathering IV. It was three whole stages in less than ten minutes. Are Breakthroughs this easy???
