Lazy mc some love them some hate them but I think they are interesting.

Though not that popular there are a lot of people who enjoy them. So a way that some one could write one in a way to make it work would be making the story a slice of life with interesting support characters (tanaka kun is always listless is a good example). Seeing how this could be a fanfic oc then make the character's power based on something sleep related example's could include the power of sloth (chose your interpretation of it) or you could make the character have no combat potential and give them a very strategic mind.

Anyways this advice isn't that good as most people have already figured this out but whatever just what to bring more attention to this character shtic cuz I find it interesting. If you wana try I wish you good luck and hope you succeed in making some thing you enjoy :P
