9 I am alone in the world

Very few stories have I read about a lone character in a world just surviving. The only examples I can think of is the movie "Cast Away", the book "Hatchet", and a few mangas who's names I've forgotten. I don't know why people don't write stories like this as on paper its simple but I have a few guesses that go along the lines of "the story would be uninteresting with out more characters" or the world building wouldn't be interesting enough to support the stories growth"... But I digress, why are you even reading my content to begin with are you really that bored?
