24 Meeting

A sharp whistle in her head gave her wince. She thought maybe it was the position she was sitting while reading the book. She put it down and got up to stretched when her eyes got a black and orange book.

" shadow hunter: first spell: witch 101." Like a magnet, the book got her attention

She picked it up and opened to read. She fails to realize that now she can easily read and open those weird color-coded book than last night.

After her rebirth, she felt like something was missing in her life. A hole that could never seem to fill.

At first, she thought maybe due to her heartbroken, and the betrayal that she had experienced was the reason. But after reading the book of shadow hunter. She felt for the first time she was at peace. She felt her whole body filled with vital cooling energy that went all around her system soothing and easing any slight pain.

Excitement built within her. She wanted to try and follow the step wrote down in the book of shadow. Get a glimpse of these magical experiences as she decided to at least give a trial.

"You can do these, and it won't hurt. Even if you fail, at least you know that there was no supernatural being here in City Q and that early book would be a fiction instead of reality"

She positioned herself and shaped her hand in the form it was shown. The best part was it had an illustration of pictures drawn showing what to do and what not to do.

She was ready to practice her first casting spell and she was smiling as if she had won a million-dollar lottery.

Paradise Hotel

They arrived after midnight, and all of them signed the guest book. It had been over decades since they last had this kind of meeting.

The last of them came in as they all crowded around a table while some of them stood at the sides. As they murmured to each other in a hushed voice, before the bell rang for them to be quiet and get in business mode.

"We have gathered here today, after 200 years. I know none of us want to be in the same room. But tonight it necessary. We all have seen, and witness the event that happened here in city Q recently. We have lived with humans for centuries, and none of them knew our existences. Does anyone of you know, why our wolves awakened earlier than it should.?" Said an old handsome looking guy who had the role of higher priest.

Some hushed voices continue among themselves as one of them replied

"We the house of the dark lord, believed that it the cause of those witches. I am sure they are the ones who have performed some forbidden spell." Replied Prince Wang

"Do not blame us witches" Said Aani, the wife of Mo Gan from the house of Amaruq

"Why are you in a meeting of the wolves when you are nothing but a bitch and a witch" replied Mina the ex-girlfriend of Mo Gan and currently the mistress of second in command of the dark lord- Lee Song.

"Language please, we have our young ones here too." Replied the higher priest.

"if it was not the cause of magic, then what was it…?" asked the higher priest

"Maybe, it could be those rouge wolves of the house of Ice Queen," said the Dark Lord as he walks in the meeting with his youngest son prince Lang.

All dark wolves stood up to show their respect as their king walked in an took his seat next to grandpa Mo and said: "Long time no see, big brother."

Grandpa Mo was the firstborn of the original of the wolves in city Q, followed by Mo shag now know as the dark lord and lastly Mo You who was killed by Mo shag when he was 25 years old. He claimed it was an accident, but that will be another story for another day.

Grandpa Mo, nodded his head to acknowledge his younger brother and so-called sworn enemies.

"What made you think that ancient wolves of Ice Queen are the cause of these changes, after all, it has been centuries since we last saw any of them," asked the higher priest

"I thought so too until I heard from one of my spies insides the nobles that the evil Ice Queen and her people left some bloodlines here in city Q and one of them has inherited the power of Ice Queen. Maybe that heir was the caused of it." Replied Dark lord

Everyone inside the conference hall in Paradise hotel all starts to panic, including the higher priest.

"Are you sure, Mo Shag?" asked grandpa Mo. He was the only one who still had the right to call him that instead of Dark Lord.

"Yes, I am sure of it."

"How was that possible, didn't we and the nobles joined hands to eliminated any bloodline of that evil Ice Queen, we even included her people." Asked Azia, the leader of wolves in City M.

"All I know is that the heir is a ten-year-old child, and the nobles are looking for that child before her people found her."

"I believe that we can find that child quickly than those useless nobles, If only she had awakened her wolf then it would have be easy for us to sense her," replied Azia.

"Fool, if the child hasn't awakened the blue wolf, do you think the child would have control our shift. For the child to make us lose control and change without us being aware of, only shows that she had already woken up the blue wolf within the Ice Queen and somehow find a way to hide his or her scent." Replied Mo Gan

While they were in heated debate, they failed to realize that above the chandelier in the conferences room, two people were standing upside down as they eavesdrop their conversation.
