97 97. Betrayed.

Over the next couple of week the academy went over a drastic change as new courses were added. New martial arts courses, new weapon training classes for those without swords.

However there were quite a few that were dissatisfied with all the changes going on. The nobles. They were losing loads of money due to the fruit trees taking profits from them, the free metal utensils given away so people could cook food. The nosey captain teaching souls a variety if survival skills so they didn't need to buy things from them.

They didn't notice at first but after a couple months and the vaults they had were slowly dwindling and profits were down they saw it.

So they did what spoiled young masters who aren't getting what they want do. They flex their power.

A full court meeting with all the captains by central 46 was called.

"Ryan Grim, Captain of the Second Squad of the Gotei 13. Today you are put on trial for attempts to betray soul society and bring about a revolution." A noble up in the stands said making everyone gobsmacked including Ryan.

"Your plan of kidnapping various children of soul society and manipulating them against the nobles has been found out. Your plans to slowly change the school curriculum and usurp the power of central 46 has been found out. Your plan of raising civilians to arms under the guise of teaching them hunting skills has been found out. The mass murder of hundreds of thousands of soul said to be Bandits, is an atrocity that you will also be charged for." Several of the captains and lieutenants looked on in disbelief.

Many of the nobles had smug looks on their faces as they looked at the seriously pissed off captain in the center of the chamber.

"Fine then show me the proof." the steel tone of Ryan cut through the auditorium making the hair on many people stand on edge.

"There is no need for proof. The facts have already been proven with your actions, none of your teachings have said a word about following the nobles orders. Even now nobody is buying from the various noble clans." The fat noble says.

"So this is what its about? Money?" Ryan sneers.

"Can you prove that you aren't instigating a rebellion against the nobles by raising your own personal army?" Another fat noble says ignoring the previous question.

"This is your justice system Yamamoto? Framing an innocent man for good deeds?" Ryan says eyeing the bald man who is also frowning.

"Innocent? After murdering hundreds of thousands of people. Ha!" Another member says with a laugh.

"We of central 46 have deemed you a danger to soul society, your Zanpakuto will be sealed, you will be stripped of your rank and sealed, your territories, rank as a noble and assets will be taken from you." The one in charge says.

"So nobody is going to speak up on my behalf huh?" Ryan asks towards the various captains.

"It wouldn't matter as your punishment has already been decided." One of the nobles says with a grin. "Even they have to listen to their betters."

"So be it." Ryan takes off the captain cloak and tosses it towards the other captains. "By the way all of this has been shown across the various villages, so now everybody knows how money hungry you fat cunts are. Framing a captain for coin? What did I expect from corrupt politics? But I had already prepared for this."

Clapping his hands what nobody noticed were all of his people in his territory vanishing. The same was being offered in various villages for those who wished to leave.

Not every plan goes smoothly after all.

Quite a few of the captains had sour looks on their faces, however they had been with soul society for hundreds of years. They can't just risk everything for someone they knew only a couple of years.

"I have no words on how utterly disappointed I am in some of you." Ryan says looking towards Unohana, Soi Fon and Yoruichi in particular. "I'll be going now old man, have fun with these soul sucking scum. I honestly believe hollows have more integrity than they do."

"Sieze him!" One of the fat nobles shouted but Ryan was already long gone.

Alarms started blaring as soul society was locked down.

Meanwhile Ryan was sitting on top of the large white prison building, hollow mask on writing names down.

Yhwach.

A strange looking eyeball surrounded in black mass appeared over his book whirling around before being stored into the myriad pearl.

"Well at least I'm not the only captain that's gotten screwed over by soul society. So that makes me feel a bit better." Ryan says before his hand stiffens as he thought about something. "Well theres an idea."

Still it was pretty disappointing that not even a single one of his 'Friends' stood up for him. But then again they hadn't known each other that long still it was a harsh blow. He at least had hopes for Unohana.

"Forget it, at least I can help them out before I go." Snatching the abilities of Yhwach was a good start. Luckily he was weakened and currently Ryan was much stronger than him.

"Go? Where do you plan to go?" A voice asks behind him.

"Ah didn't take you long to find me Unohana, well I'm planning to go to an alternative universe and recruiting. Might start my own Gotei 13 without the imbeciles and the back stabbing." Ryan says casually.

There was a flutter of clothing. "I wish to go with you. I know your power personally and I do not believe you would raise some silly rebellion. You simply have no need to." Unohana says discarding her captains cloak. "I also admit I wish to see this alternative universe. Plus I believe I would regret it for the rest of my days if I let my favorite sparring partner leave. My life was ever so dull before you arrived and I don't want to return to that."

Ryan gazes over his shoulder before nodding.
