4 Chapter 3

Upon reincarnating Will felt many things, one he felt very small, only natural as he was undoubtedly a small child, two he felt something hard on his back like stone, he inferred he was either outside or in a cave which was a bit strange but not too unusual perhaps his younger self was playing outside when his memories came in, three he felt a humungous pain in his head when his younger self's memories came to him.

OH NO!

Will was furious at the memories he saw they were awful. Let's start from the beginning, his name was William Dragon ( he had apparently kept the same first name from his previous life) his family was very powerful as they were one of the two royal families.

This will take some explaining basically in this country, which is called Mellowrain, there were five nobel families, one for each of the races, the Lunar family who ruled over the Anima, the Crimson family who ruled over the Vampires, the Sky family who ruled the Angels, the Black family who ruled over the Devils, and the Forest family who ruled the Humans, above those five were the 2 royal families, the Dragon family, as mentioned before, and the Sun family, these two families kept the nobel families in check and had the final say in all decisions about the country.

At first young Will lived comfortably with his parents and two older siblings, one a brother the other a sister, but when he turned 3 ,the age one usually started showing traits of their race at, young Will showed no traits at all, but his parents knew that Will could be a late bloomer so they resolved to wait one year to see if he was truly as they feared, during that year young Will's parents and brother were distant, they rarely came to visit and when they did his parents would just frown and shake their heads and his brother looked at him with barely concealed hate and disgust, it wasn't a totally awful year though, his sister ( the only one older Will still thought of as family) visited everyday and played with him often, the maids and guards were friendly too as even without his memories Will was a very kind person, overall he was happy but young Will was also confused 'Why aren't mom and dad coming to play?' and 'Why is brother looking at me like that?' were things that were often on his mind when his parents and brother came to visit.

After a year had passed and young Will had turned 4 his parents had apparently had enough of waiting around , even though it wasn't uncommon for late bloomers to not show their race traits until they were six they had decided their second son was a 'Defect' (someone who is born to two creatures but are themselves a human) and ordered the guards to "do away" with him, he felt fear strike his heart as two guards picked him up like a prisoner and two more held back his sister as she was screaming at the guards to stop and verbally cursing his parents for doing that to him, luckily for young Will the guards who carried him out comforted him and told him that they were going to place him in the forest near a village that would welcome him with open arms they then preceded to do just that urging him to get to the village quickly as the forest was a dangerous place, though young Will had begun to feel feverish as soon as the guards left and took refuge in a nearby cave , which was were older Will was now.
