Story of The Past

Living yet not alive.

Dead but not able to let go.

This sums up pretty much everything you needed to know about what Tessa Wilson's life was like for the past ten years.

Let's go back in time to the beginning and find out what the reason was!

It was the winter of the year 20XZ and only a moment before the clock hit 12 o'clock on the night most people celebrated as New Year's Eve.

The stars shone brightly and the snow fell softly onto the trees outside of one of the most prestigious hospital in the world. Most of the lights in the building were turned off - in all but one room.

Doctors were busy doing their work inside, while an elderly couple and their grandsons had to wait for their turn to go in. Hours had passed and before they knew it, the doors slammed open at midnight to overbring the joyous news of a healthy baby girl's successful birth.

The girl was none other than Tessa Wilson, whose soul had won the opportunity to live the life of a modern princess.

Sadly, this tranquillity didn't last long.

The night after her first birthday marked the beginning of a number of torturous nightmares. Everytime she closed her eyes to rest, another set of dreams assaulted her mind.

If it wasn't bad enough already, her dreams came to her in cohesive series. With time it dawned on her that the longer she slept, the more she found out about 'Another Life'.

The older she grew, the worse it got. She dreamed of a life, where killing became natural and human like monsters infested the Earth. As people changed so did the plants. They evolved into unrecognisable man-eating beings, whose shadows followed her out into the real world.

Tessa Wilson was confronted with utter chaos and how it broke out in the human world. Every continent of the world became a battle arena full of survivalists and criminals with magic.

Suffering through five mentally draining years, the little girl's view on everything had changed. It was around that time, when she finally got a break...

Only for the nightmares to come back with increased intensity and vigour a few years later.

The worried frowns on her family's faces were the evidence of how much they cared for her.

It distressed her parents and her brothers, who couldn't do anything to ease her pain.

It also terrified the doctors and psychologists, who couldn't do anything, but feel pity for the young girl with an unknown and unidentifiable 'illness'. Some whispered it might even be a curse yet nobody knew the truth until later.

After years and years of searching for a cure, Tessa tried to figure out the reason for these dreams to no avail.

The situation escalated, when one night, she fell into a deep sleep from which she didn't wake up again for a very long time.

At the age of eight years, the little girl fell into a coma for two whole years.

Fate meant it well, but nothing could make up for lost time.
