10 Coffee Spiller

I Wish You Didn't Love Me

- Ian -

"Are you sure it's her?" I nodded.

"She looked just like her. Even laughed and smiled like her." I know I'm not mistaken. She's not someone you forget overnight. That weird woman.

"You're really imagining things, Ian." He said disappointedly, nodding his head.

"I'm not! It was her but for some reason, she didn't recognize me." I sat down defeated and confused. I know we said it would be better to forget but I didn't think she'd take it literally.

"Well, then I guess your kiss wasn't as magical as you thought." I looked at him in anger. He raised his hands not wanting to piss me off.

"It wasn't the kiss that was unforgettable. It's what happened after." I took a sip from my drink, which was delicious, and thought about the resemblance.

"Woah don't tell me you guys did it." He leaned in ready to hear what happened. What does he mean? Did what? My eyes widened.

"No! Nothing like that. You're so perverted." He just shrugged and sat back down.

"Why don't you just look for her then?" he said looking through the menu. We came to eat at Orange Garden after I told him what happened on the bus. He said his meeting was canceled so he could join me in eating out after all.

"I can't." he looked at me confused. "I told you it's better I never see her again."

"Well for someone who 'never wants to see her again' you sure are thinking about her a lot." He's right. Why am I thinking about it so much?

"Even if I did want to look for her I wouldn't be able to find her. I never got her name." He raised his eyebrows.

"Not even when you spilled coffee on her?" Once again I looked at him with sharp eyes.

"No," I sighed. "It's a long story but we both thought it would be best." Some part of me is thankful for that but another part wants to smack myself in the head.

"So why do you like her anyway. She must be really special to get you like this." he began putting the order in the restaurant tablet.

"I don't like her." But I also don't know why I was so interested. But for one thing, I definitely don't like her in that way. She's just very interesting to be around.

"Makes sense. I mean when have you ever liked someone when there isn't something in it for you?" He's right. I mean she didn't really have anything I wanted, so what did she have that got me to be this interested in her? Maybe I've just been thinking too much because I coincidentally met her on the bus. I'll probably be over it soon.

The food finally arrived and my stomach was getting excited. See. I'm already over it.

"Give me a minute." Damion went outside to take a call. Dammit, now I have to wait for him to come back to eat. Who's calling him this late?
