3 Chapter 3

A-A citizen?! The dark knight's eyes trembled as she watched the youth in front of her put up a mug under his face.

Wei Xiaodan seemed to guessed what she was thinking as he widened the mug forming in his face even more and said, "What. Is this your first time seeing someone so handsome that even though you're on verge of dying, your eyes couldn't stop looking at me as if you'll devour me completely anytime by now?"

Devour you completely? If only I had my strength right now, I would have done that by now without you telling me. No, maybe I could even give you a more befitting end? Being the feast of the wolves running forward at us as we leisurely take our time… The dark knight knew that it's no longer possible to buy time. That's why she could only curse inside her mind as she watched Wei Xiaodan irritate her with his mouth seemingly doesn't know when to stop.

"....You're a citizen, what are you doing here?? Run away while I'm still breathing, welp, I bet they'll still catch up with you even if you run away by looking at their pace of running that might outrun a car." The dark knight still warned Wei Xiaodan to hurry up and run even though it's already pointless.

At least, if Wei Xiaodan run some farther away in distance, she didn't have to endure hearing again his voice so irritating to even listen to.

Seriously, was his mouth made to irritate whoever he talks to? He should start taping his mouth if so.

Wei Xiaodan sneered and said mockingly, "Look at this whore…. You can already see how bad your situation was and still could yarp your mouth as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. If you have time to worry about someone else, why not worry about yourself first?"

Worrying? Who's worried about? The dark knight almost burst into a fit of laughter, but stopped it before it even exploded out from her grumbling stomach

Wei Xiaodan stared at her, his eyes completely disinterested. For some reason, that hurts her pride for a little there.

Wei Xiaodan sized up her situation and realized that she's no longer capable of fighting. Before long, he nodded his head and muttered something to himself, "Yep, she's good as a M*gikarp…. No, maybe M*gikarp would be even useful than her in this situation. I mean, he could be used as a bait and let the wolves feast on it as I run away with my life after all."

While this useless knight over me whom grunting into the ground with her shoulder leaning on her sword to stand, M*gikarp would surely be even more useful. Wei Xiaodan thought to himself.

The dark knight couldn't keep up with what he's saying before tilting her head to the side. Not only his mouth was something else, even the way he carries thought was also something else. Right now, the dark knight felt like dissecting his head to see what's inside his narrowed brained kind of thinking. She just couldn't get a grasp on what he was talking about for a moment there.

The dark knight couldn't hide her curiosity and decided to ask him about it, "What useless thing are you talking about? And also what hell's a M*gikarp. I mean, you were even comparing me to it so I'm starting to feel even more curious. Was it some kind of animal? Even though I've studied some about animals, I've never heard anything about animals called M*gikarp. Was it some kind food then?"

Wei Xiaodan clicked his tongue in annoyance and said, "Can't you read the situation? There's literally a horde of wolves running towards us at the speed exceeding that of a car and yet you still got some energy to continue yapping your mouth about such useless information. Instead of running your mouth, why don't you get up and fight them in order for us to survive instead? Tsk, what a useless whore."

The dark knight angrily raised her dissatisfaction, "Hey! Why do you keep calling me a whore you brat! If I had strength to even stand up right now, I would have pounced at you and slashed you to pieces right now! Besides, it was you who raised my curiosity that's why I couldn't help myself but to be curious and ask! Didn't your mother told you about the saying "finished what you've started" you stupid as*hole!"

Wei Xiaodan's shoulder dropped low.

"My mother's already dead though…..," Wei Xiaodan said slowly, his eyes seemingly about to burst into tears.

"T-then how about your father??" The dark knight hurried changed her target and said.

Of course, she chose the wrong opponent today.

"My whole family died at the same time due to some accidents…." Wei Xiaodan said, his eyes succumbing to darkness as times goes on.

"A-Anyway, why don't you run away already while they feast on my body. I'm sure you'll be caught too in no time, so you'll meet your family sooner so how bout extending your life for a few minutes by running away?" The dark knight hurried changed the subject into him "running away". Her shoulders were dejected in defeat.

Wei Xiaodan seemed to thought of something and paused for a moment as he seized up the dark knight whose knees had fallen into the ground.

"I ain't gonna make this pointless conversation go on any further and beat around the bush already. Lend me your sword and I'll buy you some time until you recover your stamina for us to run away," Wei Xiaodan said, his eyes filled with determination.

The dark knight sneered and said, "Don't hope of even buying time. I couldn't even last ten minutes till I ran out of stamina after using my wide range skill, so you, a normal human with an average physiques won't even be able to last for even a second."

"How many minutes do you need until you recover??" Wei Xiaodan said coldly.

The dark knight seemed to feel that their conversation won't end until she lend him her sword, so without hesitation, she threw her sword towards him and thankfully it landed into the ground without hitting him. Although, she would be more pleased if it really did land a scratch on him.

"Ack! Watch it!" Wei Xiaodan irritatedly raised his brows and said as he dodged the big ass sword now stuck on the ground.

"Well, it would be much better if you died from it, heh." The dark knight smug under her heavy helmet. 

Even though her face was hidden under her helmet, Wei Xiaodan could still see how beautiful her face was with those smug alone.

And straight to the bush, Wei Xiaodan didn't dare waste any more of their leisure time and asked her the main problem stabbing into his very heart, "How long do I have to hold them off until you recover?"

"3 minutes." The dark knight said shortly.
