We have to hide here. Belong to me

Teran had just woken up, flinging his left arm over his eyes to shield them from the rays of the sun streaming from the window, when he suddenly heard someone knock on the door of his room.

He was still trying to come to terms with the strange room he was in and why he was there when he suddenly heard the door open, as he watched someone walk in.

A single second was all it took for him to recall all that had happened the night before in the hotel room,

"Kahan Pelzer," Teran said in a slightly excited voice not at all trying to hide how he felt at seeing one of his favorite actors of all time in front of him.

"What am I doing here? Did the police finally arrive to rescue us?" Teran went ahead to ask, not at all noticing the frozen expression on Kahan's face, when he finally confirmed that the hotel attendant recognized him and remembered him.

"Yes, everything has been taken care of," Kahan replied walking closer to Teran's bed wearing a casual black shirt and pants that looked just as nice on him as when he had been wearing the suit the night before.

Teran found it unable to take his eyes off his face and body, as he continued to stare at him as he moved closer to his bed with both hands in each pocket,

"The bullet went through your shoulder which means that you can be discharged soon," Kahan informed him watching the look of relief that instantly flashed across the innocent face of the hotel attendant still lying on the bed,

"That's good. My grandmother must be worried sick about me. I also can't be away from my job without getting permission,"

"Ohh…you don't have to worry about thatt…" Kahan gently informed him, coming to a final stop beside his bed, going as far as to lean against the side of it, staring right into Teran's face while Teran himself couldn't help how flustered he suddenly felt,

"Oh, you informed them about my injury and got permission?" Teran asked with a smile on his face, twiddling his fingers underneath the blanket to hide how nervous he felt at how close Kahan was leaning towards him,

"No. It's actually because you've been fired,"

"W-whatt…" said Teran unable to believe what he had just heard, jerking upright until he was face to face with Kahan,

"What do you mean by I'm fired? I can't be fired,"

"Everyone on that floor has been fired, it's not just you," Kahan informed him, while gently pressing him back down to the bed by lightly pushing on his chest,

"Bu-but we didn't do anything wrong," Teran cried, unable to hide how distressed he felt about suddenly becoming unemployed after only working for no more than three days.

"You're the reason why they attacked yesterday. Why didn't you explain that to the hotel managers," Teran asked getting annoyed as he continued to look at the strangely calm expression on Kahan's face as he continued to watch everyone of Teran's expressions.

"That brings me back to the main reason why I'm here. Since you already know too much, you should come and work for me," Kahan told him and while Teran's mind was mostly elsewhere, he heard the latter part which was the most important part of what Kahan said,

"Work for you? You're an actor, what could I possibly help you with? I-I mean apart from whatever dangerous business you're also involved in," Teran said regretting his words even before he was done saying them when he noticed the stony look that flashed across the face of the man in front of him.

"There're many things you can do for me "

"With the way, you were looking at me when I entered I would think you would have no problems being my lover," Kahan replied with a smirk on his face glad to again see the anxious expression on Teran's face as he struggled to deny it,

"I-I would never,"

"Really? It comes with a lot of money," Kahan informed him as he also looked down at Teran in an obviously sexy way, going as far as to scrutinize his body which was completely covered by the blankets on him, stopping his gaze on the lower half of his body,

"W-what are you talking about? I'm interested in women" Teran screamed in a low voice, conscious of the fact that he was in a hospital even if the door of his room was locked.

"Sad. You would have made a pretty lover," Kahan replied in a teasing manner, as he noticed how red Teran's cheeks were, and how he suddenly found it difficult to look him in the eyes.

"Since you've rejected me as a lover. Then you might as well be my bodyguard. I'll pay you well,"

"Bodyguard? I can't. I have no qualifications for it and I can't even defend myself. You saw me yesterday. If not for you, we would both be dead," Teran quickly replied not at all understanding why anyone would ever ask him to be a bodyguard considering how weak he looked.

"Trust me. I like money. This is for your own good," Teran replied, "and for my own safety," he thought internally wanting nothing more to do with Kahan the second he left and he was released from the hospital.

He had seen enough of his world for a night and he absolutely wanted nothing more to do with it.

Kahan on the other hand was tired of being rejected and refused. Something he wasn't used to since all he had to do was give orders.

"I wasn't asking. From today, you'll be my bodyguard and I'll teach you everything you need to know," Kahan said rising back to his normal height and staring down at Teran, with a neutral expression on his face that said that he was done talking about it.

"All I have to do is continue to stay in the hospital until he leaves then I'll leave," Teran thought, looking away and choosing to no longer argue or physically go against what he wanted.

"Your hospital bills sum up to 3000 dollars for a night. This is a VIP room," Kahan replied, in a way that instantly made Teran wonder if he could read minds as the color suddenly drained from his face the second he heard it.

"B-but aren't you supposed to have taken care of them? I got shot protecting you,"

"Yes and I thank you for it, but I only take care of people that belong to me," Kahan replied with a shrug,

"You have until I leave to make up your mind, he continued to speak with a smug smile on his face, already sure of what Teran's answer would be since he knew he couldn't afford to pay such an amount"
