Togashi Kenma. Starting his career as a member of a particular military unit in Japan, called Special Force Group or SFGp for short. He joined the Special Mission Unit to prevent Terrorism from inside or outside the country. His skills, talent, commitment make him become a leader from a unit called Ketteishi.
Chukugyo is a unit that was used in a few situations. For example, War, Special Mission, Terrorism. Right, it's just the same as SFGp. Is there nothing special? Of course, there are. There are hidden facts in Japan. What is it? It's the existence of Creature called Demon, Angel, Youkai, and the others. To protect the citizen from them, Chukugyo was created.
However, not every one of them was evil. Even a few of them is agreed to create a peace contract. Also, the most notable things are, there was no leader in Chukugyo. They are allowed to act freely as long they didn't against the rule.
But fighting a supernatural only with a physical body is impossible. And because of that, only a few people know the existence of supernatural power. People who awaken magical power will choose to join the Magical Military or join the Magical Guilds.
Magical Military is focused on fighting the supernatural. As for the Magical Guilds' primary focus is to protect the normal citizen and help the people who awaken their power. Magical Guilds are also assisting the government in hiding the existence of the supernatural.
