1 THE END WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

Fire spreading,corpses of people seen everywhere on the streets,and destroyed buildings as far as the eye can see.It all happened so fast that people didn't even have time to prepare.In just 3 days,the world was plunged into a nuclear war.

On a certain street,a teenager is slowly walking with a lot of wounds and dressed in rags that used to be a school uniform.As the teenager walks,he was thinking why and how all of this happened,why did the world became wretched that was once peaceful.This teenager is named Lucas.Before the apocalypse,he was just and ordinary student on an ordinary school living an ordinary life but the war changed it.

Minutes passed by and he was still walking slowly.He's just actually walking blindly,making himself go wherever his feet may take him.It was just 2 hours ago when all of his companions died.They were his classmates .They were killed by a group of thugs and only he survived through sheer luck.Back then before the war started,they were just having a normal lesson in the morning when they heard a loud rumble of the ground and it did not stop there.Suddenly,Lucas saw a light that looks like comet but in blazing flames as it was falling fast to the ground.After that,What came next is a blinding light and before he knew,A nuclear war began and the world and society collapsed.What happened next is Chaos and with nuclear radiation to top it off.

On the first day of the war,People were shocked but the government of different countries said that it was all still under control and the explosion was mere accident of some sorts which made people infuriated because only fools would believe a large-scale explosion is caused by an "accident".Nobody knew that a nuclear war was happening.On the second day,The explosions happened again but not only once,it happened several times on different places.The Government had no choice but to reveal the ongoing nuclear war and by the third day,The morality of several people collapsed and everybody took the oppurtunity to do crime.The Government was helpless because by the third day came,the world basically became a dystopia wherein a person takes advantage on one another and several diseases and plagues spread because of the nuclear radiation which lead to the current state of the world where Lucas is in.It was currently the 7th day after the first 3 days

Lucas was still walking absent mindedly when he heard sqeaks.It was rats.Not just ordinary rats but mutated rats which was caused by the nuclear radiation.Their eyes were glowing in red while their size is greatly increased to the point that you can compare them into a size of a cat.There were about 7 of them in front of Lucas.

"Great,A bunch of mutated rats.Just what i need.I wonder where's mom and dad right now.Sigh,I guess my pathetic life ends here."Lucas said as he was facing the rats.He can't feel any fear anymore knowing that he will die sooner or later anyway because he's weak.He slowly walked towards the rats and as he walked he began to think of his past memories and if his life was actually meaningful and satisfactory.Little does he know his tale is just about to begin.
