2 Chapter 2

Mei Yu didn't allow her beautiful children to go out for a two weeks. During that time she had feed them different delicacies and fruit. She adore how they love eating her cooking.

During the night she would secretly put lotions on their skin to make sure that all black spots left by the neglecting is gone. Seeing that after two weeks her babies is all smooth and white, Mei Yu decided to go to the town.

Mei Yu and her sons slept warmly during the night. Early in the morning, Mei Yu cook buns with meat, congee with egg, and a glass of milk.

"Mother will go to her shop in town. She will bring Kei Yu. You brothers have to stay with your grandma. Behave. I will bring back good food."

"Yes mother" The siblings said obediently. They know not to argue with their mother.

After eating, the brothers felt regret seeing such delicious food uneaten. During the last few week their mother treat them really spoiled them but they felt pain seeing their mom throw the uneaten food during meals to their pig.

The food was really good and expensive. They hope they could share it with their grandparents, uncles, aunt, and cousins. They treated them very well when their mother won't even look at them.

Seeing the longing gazed of her babies at the foods, Mei Yu felt distressed. She want to give the best she have for her babies but she can't change abruptly or else it might cause a huge problem. She could only slowly change.

"Mother may we bring the remaining food at grandpa's house?' Ruren look at his mother pleadingly.

Mei Yu stood up and wrapped the remaining buns and eggs in a cloth, she also took 1 kilo of pork, 1 kilo of chicken and 3 kilos of pearl white rice. She put everything in a basket. She handed everything to the brother while she fix Kei Yu in his carrier.

"Mother?" The brothers look at her hoping that their mother prepared those for them.

"Mother will be back late at night. Everything in the basket is your foods for the day. I don't care if you share it or not. Just make sure that three of you are fully satisfied." She explained patiently. Knowing that her babies would surely share the foods.

Joy is clearly written on the brothers' face. They could share the delicious foord with their grandparents, uncles and aunt as well as their cousins. They always desire to share the blessings they have these last few days.

"Behave ok?" Mei Yu reminded the three childrens.

"Yes mother."

Mei Yu had to ride her horse cart to the town with Kei Yu because she doesn't have servants and her father won't allow her to purchase one. She wants to purchase a new home for her family so that when her babies started going to school she could be stay near them. Maybe their father could just farm their lands instead of going far away to do construction job.

Ruren along with Shin and Shen hurriedly left the house. They carried a big heavy basket with them to their grandpa's house.

"Grandpa, grandma we are back." They announced cheerfully.

Their relative hurriedly went out and saw the siblings carrying a big basket. What amazed them is the new clothes that the brothers wear. "Eldest Uncle please help. This basket is so heavy." Shin complained while Shen nodded sweating heavily.

The Feng Eldest son hurriedly assist the siblings. "What are these?"

"Mother said these are our food for the day. We want to share it with the family and Mother said we could share with the family since we will stay here until she arrived at night."

The old couple along with their children are curious about the things that the children brought. What happened to the third daughter in law? A few days ago that woman was cursing them all to die. Now she paid for father Feng treatment, bought the children clothes and now giving them food.

Opening the basket they are all shock seeing the food it contain. Average income family could only eat these kind of foods every New Year.

"Ruren did your mother pack these?" Father Feng look at his eldest grandson in question.

Ruren nodded, "Mother pack it for us because I asked Mother if she could pack our breakfast. Then she prepared the other things." He explained quietly, he was also puzzled with his mother's behaviour but as long as his Father is not home he must stay good. He can't act restless.

"Where is the seventh grandson?" Mother Feng asked in distressed. Her youngest grandson is not here. Her grandson is staying with her reckless third daughter in law.

"KeiYu is with Mother. They went to the town. She promise to buy good food." Shen said quietly.

"Is he gonna be alright?" Eldest sister in law asked.

Shen frowned. He doesn't like it if they bad mouth their mother. She had treated them well this last few day.

"Mother had been taking care of us. She feed us well. She made sure that we are clean and warm." Shen said stunning everyone since Shen is usually so shy to even speak.

Mother Feng smiled reaasuringly, not wanting to distressed the fourth grandson. "Yes. Yes. You are right. Third wife is your mother. Of course, she will care for Kei Yu."

"Shen stop worrying. Father will be back later. He promise to play with us." Shin try to cheer up his distressed twin.

"Xiao Shen lets go draw some pictures with Xiao Shin." Ruren tried to distract his third brother.

Shen pouted, they don't believe him. "Ok." He muttered sullenly. The three children left to draw with their cousins.

"Don't worry about KeiYu. Li Ren will be back tonight. If they are home by evening. We could go to town and look for them." Father Feng stated, knowing that it is pointless to worry about the mother and son.

Thwy could only disperse and do their work. Patiently waiting for the third son to come home.
