1 Prologue

Azure Sword City

Early in the morning

"Hey! Wait for me, you're running too fast," a young girl exclaims as she runs as fast as she could to follow behind a young boy, hearing her shout, the boy in front of her looks behind and smirks

"Haha! I'm not going to let you win, catch me if you ca- ughh" crashing onto a body of an adult, the young boy stumbles backwards as he stares at the guy with embarrassment

"Sorry about that!" seeing the boy crashing onto a stranger, the girl becomes startled as she continues to head towards their direction.

Staring at the young kid before him who looked to be around the age of 12, the grown man becomes irritated but even so, after seeing the clothing of the boy which indicated the possibility that he might have come from a rich family, he immediately reveals a shameless smile before saying

"Oi kid, you made this man's clothes tattered and dirty, I will give you a chance, hand me 100 gold coins and I will let it slide," hearing the request from the stranger, the boy thought It was too unreasonable, but even so, he keeps his apologetic attitude as he kindly replies

"I'm very sorry elder, but I don't have that much gold coins with me,"

Catching up to the young boy, the girl pants to catch for her breathe before saying "W-we are truly sorry for what had happened, please forgive him," hearing the reply from the boy the stranger becomes annoyed but when his eyes land on the young girl he flashes a grin before saying

"Haha, little girl, I can forgive your friend even if you two don't have 100 gold coins, but only in 1 condition... you have to stay with me for 1 night, and don't think of me as being too unreasonable, I will beat you two up otherwise" hearing what the man had just said, the girl becomes startled and scared but the boy immediately becomes enraged while gritting his teeth, he was fine with the stranger even if he gets beaten up, but the girl was his weakspot, he won't let anyone touch her without her permission.

Seeing the young girl who had an expression of nervousness, the man slowly starts to approach her step by step

"P-please don't come near me!" the girl cried out but her leg was frozen with fear, seeing the girls pitiful face accompanied by horror, the man starts to get even more excited as he reaches out his right arm intending to grab the girls shoulder, but before he could even touch her, he suddenly felt a strong kick coming from his right rib sending him flying 3 meters away

"Don't you dare touch her!" the young boy threateningly yelled before looking at the terrified girl and saying

"Daiyu, stand behind me, I will never let someone like him lay a finger on you," seeing the youthful yet courageous back of the young boy who stood before her, the girl becomes emotional and feels a sudden pulse of security and warmth in hear heart that she had never felt before.

"Ugh, that hurted quite a bit and how dare you kick me!," groaned the man as he slowly got up from his feet, patting the dust from his clothes but inwardly he was shocked as the young boys strength far exceeded his age

"Kid, you must be a genius to be able to be this strong at such a young age," said the man before grinning

"But, unfortunately, I will kill you before you can grow any further," muttering his last sentence, the man lunges forward as he crosses the 3 metre distance in 1 leap, pulling back his right arm, he gathers most of his strength before finally punching forward at the boys face

Looking at the man's approaching fist which aimed for his face, the boy could not dodge in time due to the man's speed as he tries his best to form an X shape with his arms at the front of his head, receiving the full blow of the man's fist. The young boy could not withstand the sheer force with his arms as he finally stumbles backward 3 steps, looking at the boy whose nose and mouth was already bleeding from his punch but yet still remain standing, the man becomes surprised and a bit fearful before he releases a side kick from his right leg which aimed right towards the young boys ribcage

Huff huff, panting from the pain coming from his arm and face, the boy once again tries to look at the man but before he could even rest, he suddenly feels a pressure coming from his left ribcage, with eyes wide open he gets sent flying 4 meters to his right side before rolling a bit more

"Kenji!" seeing the boy getting beaten up and sent flying to the side, the girl becomes anxious as she quickly runs towards him, seeing the corner of his mouth and face flowing with blood, tears begin to drip out of her eyes as she quickly tries to wipe some of the blood off with her dress

Laying down on the concrete with his back, the young boy tries his best to lift himself up as he clutches his left rib with his right arm meanwhile trying to suppress the pain

"Daiyu, don't worry about me and just leave this place to head for the sect," staring at the young boy who refuses to give up, the man becomes furious as he rushes straight towards him planning to end him once and for all

Pushing the anxious girl away from him who refuses to leave, Kenji prepares and tries to think of a way to defeat the man, seeing the man getting closer and closer, Kenji looked as if he finally gave up however after the man released his punch which aimed for his head, Kenji immediately pulls back his right leg and kicks it with full strength in the direction of the middle of the man's leg, possibly for his little brother.

Bam! Once the 2 delivered their attacks, the man suddenly felt an excruciating pain coming from his dick, 'shit' he thought before his eyes rolled back, immediately fainting. Kenji, being already exhausted from the previous strikes finally couldn't handle the pain from the punch anymore as his body starts to go limp and descend backwards, but before his consciousness fully faded he felt his back being held by 2 arms as a girls teary face appeared before his hazy vision

Thump thump, the girl named Daiyu could feel her heart thumping as she watched the entire scene enfold in front of her, holding in her breathe but nonetheless, staring down at the boy who is her only childhood friend on the verge of collapsing due to trying to protect her, she becomes distraught with various emotions as she bawls her eyes out and embraces him.
