6 Chapter 6. School
"I'm okay, there no need to heal me." Xeols said in low and calm voices. He feels good for a moment and told them to come down from the wall first.
"Xeols, what should we do? Do we need take initiative to find students?"Mary inquired still doubtful of Xeols's intention.
"Now, 10.30 a.m. in the morning. Okay, let's have an early lunch first." Xeols said before their went to rest at garden hut and having their lunch.
Xeols knows that there will iniviteable trouble, since this school consist of two dorm with 4 storey building for students hostel and Teachers lodging. There might already a student who already become undead.
After they eat their meal, Xeols told both her wife and Mary to take care of Elu and Eli safety while he walk along with them with alert. Soon, they meet a students whose run in frantic.
"Help! Help me!" The unknown student run toward them in scared while wetting his pant.
There a dozen of undeads at his back run to him. Though their speed was slow than adult but it still comparable to adult jog.
"Xeols, what should we do?" Mary asked to Xeols while Lucy pale.
"Stay calm and still. Watch and learn, here a dagger."Xeols said calmly before give a short dagger to his wife and Mary for self protection.
"This…Dear?" Lucy looks Xeols in bewilderment.
"Please protect our daughters for moment. Be alert." Xeols said before leap toward the group of undead.
Though surprised and dased, both of them snap out from bewilderment immediately. Lucy and Mary directly unsheated the dagger before take a combat stance ready to fight.
Soon they alertness shattered by Xeols perfomance.
Their mouths gape and they feel their blood boiled in excited way while their forgeting how scary the wolrd has turn into.
They just fully immerized the show of one side masscarer with a show of ability. They don't know why, but they feel proud and secure with that man who will lead them to the unknown future.
Both Elu and Eli eyes sparckled like a bright stars, this first moment will be mark deep inside their heart forever. Both of them will take Xeols as their adol and goal to reach his power level and temperament, cause this is the moment most beautiful and elegant fight they ever witness.
Xeols never thought his combat style will be attract to much attention including the student that use to scared. Every move is fatal, he never use any flowerly move after he creates a battle instinct. The speed of his body movement neither fast yet deadly. Every swing his Katana, a undead head split from it's body without getting the head an immediate fall. Only the Undead sway while falling did it's head separated from it's body.
In this battle, Xeols never use his ability as he plan, since he need hide the true about the supernatural ability to the one will follow him while take advantage of other future base power. Of course, the plan already known of his family and included Mary who has big mouth.
The one side masscared only ended in less than a minutes without any casuality. The fight even not warming him up, he feel eased after looking the surrounding don't have any living undead left.
"Hey, what you name student? Please lead us to the school hall." Xeols said in serious expression.
"My name is Jiang Chen, Thanks for saving me. I will lead the way." The student replied before lead them to the school hall.
Sure enough, there already swarm of undeads in the school hall. Xeols immediately look at Jiang Chen who nervous and shaking his whole body after looking the swarm of undeads.
"Jiang kid, please don't get bitten or you will turn like them." Xeols said casualy before dased once again after given Jiang Chen an Iron staff that he just picked up on their way to the hall.
Thankfully, the undeads is still yet to evolve to rank 1 which will increase their specific power according to their evolvement process. So killing this kind undead is a child play for him. Mary also started killing the undead while protecting the others, since she the second reliable with her close combat tenicque. While Jiang Chen brandish his long staff to the undead continuesly, he was thankfull to Xeols for given him a long staff which give a safe distance for him to prevent himself get any scratch from the undead.
The fight soon ended in less than ten minutes and pile of undead is lay on the hall floor. Lucy hold the long dagger to protect her daughters though she didn't get killing any but she feels at eased when all the undeads is dead.
Mary already killed dozen of undead with her armed dagger combat style that she learn from the police training and Xeols's training. She smiled devilously and try seek more killing but there no more undead around the school hall.
Sadly, Jiang Chen never able to hold his vomite after snap back to his mind that he killing he fellow students. But he quickly calm himself while repeatly comfort himself by telling himself that what he killing is not a human that use to be his fellow students but a undeads.
Xeols looks at others before beckoned Jiang Chen to come over.
"Jiang kid, please lead us to where your fellow survive students. "Xeols ordered Jiang Chen with serious gazed.
Jiang Chen was nervous but does as Xeols just told. He immediately leads them to the school dual dormitory compound, where the student's lodging are.
Xeols feel weird that about how isolate the surrounding. There no undead around the surrounding but just ghastly corpse that lost almost all it's limb and skin. Xeols first goes to female dorm. Sure enough, there alot of students who still alive.
All of them was sobbing silently while hiding their own room. After do some gathering and counting, there only less than hundred of female students who still alive.
Xeols order the female student down to the school field for anouncement. When they come out from the female dorm, there a big a problem.
Almost two meters of howl waiting outside, the howl is a mutant beast in first rank. The howl immediately leap their direction.
Xeols was surprised to see rank 1 mutant beast this early. He immediately activate his battle instinct while unsheated his Katana and mix it with his spritual force.
Maybe sense of immediate death from the person that it going to kill, the mutant howl changes it's direction abruptly in an arc of movement. The direction that the mutant howl speed up toward the browndish haired female student.
"No! Save me..." as soon she found out what will happened to her after she realized that the beast running toward her. The girl shout out loud for help while wetting her pant with pale expression.
Xeols forget that howl is crafty despite it's rank. He immediately use all his might and pierced through the beast heart before stomp the beast body with a kick. The beast inertia momentum immediatelu halt and laying dead on the ground.
All the students was gape including his family and Mary. Despite knowing him has an ability to fight Mary and his family never thought he can fight so well.
The girl repeatly thanks Xeols for saving her life. Xeols just give a nod before start to save a male student at the other dorm building. Unfurtunately, many corpse is laying all over the dorm. There only a little more than ten male students that manage to survive after getting them locked on the rooftop.
The number of male students make Xeols a little dissatified. After getting a teacher lodging, there yet again a female teachers who only survive the ordeal. After getting two different group, Xeols give out a little bottle of green potion to the injured student that made by his wife before they move out from their little massion.
Xeols do not want other people know of his wife ability. So he makes some lie before told the injured to drink it. Though, the potion is make by tranfering Lucy's health type spiritual force to drink water but it's still effective to treat small cut and unranked undead virus infection.
"Haha, I wonder why male so unlucky and weak in apocalypse." Mary smirk and put a provoking expression to taunting Xeols.
"Mary, just stop." Lucy said before pinch Mary arm.
"True, they sure unlucky." Xeols replied casualy, though inside him become annoyed by Mary.
Mary become happy when Xeols give her chance winning over him in this topic. She rising up her chest despite how big the lump on it.
[So big but also so impulsive. I wonder who will furtune enough to tame this fellow.] Xeols looks at Mary big boobs for few seconds. He didn't know that someone feel dread and other feel blushing. He immediately clear his messed mind.
He order toward the school canteen to let the students to have a meal after take a cremation of the undead corpse. Of course, the howl beast core already be taken by him secret before get it to cremated.To him, every wealth is important in this apocalypse.
Espesially, the beast can be eat but since they didn't short of food, he order them cremate it instead. Howl is not tasty compare to usual human eat animal that has been mutant. Also they no human can eat the mutant beast meat who has rank higher than their or they will have spiritual power deviation and die.
Xeols create a training regime for the students while creating two group of people. Of course, it follow with their capability. The first group will lead by Mary who will patrol around the school compound. The second team will lead by himself who will manage the management of every information of their base.
Of course, there some students who against the creation of base and they wanted to go home.
"I know you all is sad, but I cannot help to escort you all to your home, right? There one thing I will said, I never prevent you all to leave this place and back to your own home. Soon, you will know." Xeols announced his statement.
