13 This was not expected

I really did not expect to feel this way.

After going through those neat stairs that spiral into the dungeon, I stepped on to what is known as the first floor. As expected of archer's luck didn't take long to run into my first monsters.

And let me tell you, I actually felt pretty excited when my eyes laid on that green and the plump humanoid monster known as a goblin. I expected this to be some kind of chore or a trial to overcome. It was neither.

I pulled out my katana, let out a smile, and let the fun begin.

I quickly decapitated the goblin and was disappointed that it ended after a single blow. Is this what Saitama feels, if so I feel you Saitama. Luckily, it didn't take long for more goblins to show up and this time there were dog-headed monsters known as kobolds.

While I was enjoying slashing those goblins and kobolds, it's not like I was unbalanced. I can even have my facial expression become stoic, hiding the joy in my expression. It's more enjoying the feeling of playing a game. There's even loot after a defeated monster, the magic stones. speaking of which.

Ren: Hey, Lucia any chance you get an inventory function?

Lucia: ara~~ Ren-sama you desire to fill me up that badly?

I don't even bat an eye, after a year with Lucia, she'll have to do better if she wants to surprise me.

Lucia: puuu, no fun Ren-sama. Sorry Ren-sama, but no such luck, perhaps Deus may grant you one in the future.

Right, I won't hold my breath then.

Well, I continued killing goblins and kobolds for a while, about fifteen altogether. I found the path to the next floor and continued my merry way.

While I continued to come across goblins, kobolds, and some lizard monsters. All going down with a single slash. I really can't help but think I over-trained for this. Well, it's pretty much a fact by how much I have grown over this past year.

Oddly, enough I couldn't get a single more stat past 900 for the last month. I have a theory that 900 is the exercise limit or its that 900 stat points are the max one can get while only exercising and the rest must be obtained by combat. It could also be that I am at this body's limit and all I need is a grand feat to level up. I suppose I'll find out more details next week or so.

Why at least next week, because I do not know how long it will take me to find something I qualify as a great feat.

Its been about....

fuck I do not have anything to tell me the time in the dungeon.

Well, it's been I don't know how long, but I have slaughtered enough goblins, kobolds, and lizards for the day. The second, third, and fourth floors have been cleared. Fortunately enough it looks like I'm about to come upon the entrance to the fifth floor.

The walls changed to a light green color and the structure is a bit different. This should be where it gets a bit more difficult.

Fuck these killer ants. I have always hated insects and these ants with their noise are pissing me off. No wonder in HunterXHunter they nuked them, they were too much of an eyesore.

The noise is like evil intent or reminds me of Tiamat's new humanity that was created. At least the goblins here were not as disgusting as the ones in Goblin Slayer.

Anyway, just slice them up and do not let them call for help.

And done, hopefully, I can just get past these floors and not see anyway more for the rest of the day.

Of course not, why do I bother to have hope, and now I am somehow surrounded by these filthy ants. Of course my stats and pain resistance I won't die to these things. But it's like being a female in Goblin Slayer and not wanting the goblins to lay a single hand on you.

In other words, it's time to pray!

Ren: Come lowly ants, I got something for all of you!

Ren: Deploying the black keys of misery!

I surround my body with black keys floating, ready to purify these evil ants.

Ren: DIE!

And the ants quickly died, their deaths screams were satisfying to my ears. Those who survived were easy for me and my trusty katana. I didn't run into any more ants on this floor thankfully and see the entrance into the sixth floor.
