1 000 - Prologue

When you wake up in the morning, what is the first thing you will do after you pick yourself up and get ready for a tiresome day? Brush your teeth? Prepare breakfast? Or is it you directly go to the shower to take your long awaited bath?

Me? Nah, I will first open my laptop and play some games for about an hour before I realize it is already 9 in the morning and I am late for my first class.

No matter what I do, that habit of mine never changes even by waking up 5 in the morning.

But for today, just today, I will put myself away from my laptop and games just for today. You know why? Because today is the day where I will go to my first ever anime convention.

I picked up my pace and finished everything in just five minutes which includes a bit of shower, brushing my teeth and eating last night's leftover.

My name is Fukuda Yuuma, just your "normal" college student. I never experienced being late throughout my life, I've dated countless numbers of girls - some of them happened at the same time, and most of all, I am a liar. When I said, I am a "normal" college student, it means exactly the opposite of it. Same goes for those that I said later on.

Most of the people tend to have a hard time dealing with me because they don't know if I am lying or not. The same thing happened every time with my professors, that is why my number of comrades can just be counted using my right hand. Not that I mind about it for me to have a small number of friend. "It is not about the quantity, it is about the quality of your friendship." Those are the words left for me by a teacher I had before whom I forgot what name he had.

Knowing those brief things about me, you've pretty much known what kind of man I am already. As for others, they call this act of a person as a "con". Despite being a con, the thing that I want the most is to live a peaceful life.

Aside from those facts, it is also true that today is the day I go to my first convention. Those who invited me to come over was my best friend and comrade, Asahina Yukki. She is the first one who built up her courage to come to talk with me, and also the first one to accept who I really am. She is the best friend material indeed. That story is for another day to tell, but right now, it is just the prologue on how I went to a convention and suddenly getting married to an anime voice actress.

This is my story and it's about to begin, so you better watch out how will I survive this matter I am facing right now as I search for a way to have the peaceful life I have been looking for.
