True Heart

Urgh—

I woke up as the bright sun peak from the window and illuminate my vision as I cover my eyes with my hand in return, I move up my body and sitted but I felt so heavy.

*Cough*

*Brrrrgh*

I cough and felt like all of I eaten these last few days will burst out in one go. I restrained it and stand up but my sense of sight felt fuzzy as my body swayed before I even fully stand. I looked where I am and remembered it was our inn, my bed is so soft that I wanted to lay down again but my mind refused and walk out of bed and look at the window. As my head peek outside, I remember. I was accompanying a certain person, to be precise a Tree, and then went blank lastnight. Even my head are heavy, I look around and look for him.

urgh—

but to no avail. I couldn't see even a shadow. Is he abandoned me? This is our fourth day to this city. so according to this city's rule, Im sure he's still inside these City, unless he flew above the city gate and leave me behind? Believing he came back..

I waited... And waited...

*Sniff—

No way, Its been an hour and he didnt came back.. Is he really?

*Sniff—

My legs trembled as I fell on my knees and my butt on the ground

*Sniff—

Did I, forsaken again? I try to be stronger, strengthened my feelings, strengthened mind than the last time. But then..

A drop of crystal clear like a water came out of my eyes, it crawl to my lips as I accidentally tastes it. So bitter.

Tears.. Came out..

I cried..

Again..

I thought.. I already vanquish this feelings. A feeling of helplessness..

A feeling of forsakened..

At that time in a forest where 'Rabbi' came at me, he's rabbit and my scout. He said, he found an amazing and interesting person helping a Girl he just met. I didnt believe him so I check it myself and that is when he found me out, rather, our eyes met. I didnt want to interact with humans again so that wasn't on purpose that we saw each other, its just that, his perception are high enough to found me whilst hiding my presence while him carrying a girl like a princess. I couldnt find any excuse for hiding my presence while looking at him from afar. but he's the first one to come forward and speak. "Will you accompanied us?, I want to help this girl!" He said straight forwardly, though he knew I wasnt your run in a mill normal horse, and its obvious with my long and twisted protruding horn, what made me laugh deep inside my heart is when he even said that word and followed up about hiring me and pay me in return. Really? What did a piece of metal helps with the likes of me?. But then I realized, he isnt your normal human too, he help this girl out of pity but with kindness, though I couldnt measure up his strength, I saw deep inside that eye, rather his core, that he's helping this girl without waiting in return. I once an acquaintance of a Human but this is the first time a non-human, non-beast, but a mythical creature cared about the human he just met.

I nod without me knowing, and thus our...

My next adventure started.. Or so I thought.

He wanted to get rid of me after hiring me? but in the end, I selfishly followed him, even breaking my own promise and change to human form again, that was a taboo, breaking your promise? who cares?.

Though he's coldhearted sometimes but always has a pure heart. The Girl he's carrying, spoon feeding, creating clothes for her not to get cold until we came in her destination and drop her. I was jealous at her at first, but his words to those guards made my heart struck and goes *doki *doki.

What he said was "She's mine(my horse), and mine alone". A confession, that was a confession! That small word wont erase inside my heart forever. Ahhh, what a bliss. But he's cold after that, but I wont give up, so I stepped forward; and declared to be his companion, at last its the two of us now. Fret not, I'll follow you wherever you go. He he...

I was too focus on those memories with him, even though we just met not even a week has past. I felt like those memories is like an eternity—

*Door Open*

"Hm? Why are you sitting on the ground?" a familiar voice said so himself through my mind. I sniff for the last time and wiped my face until the tears stop its flow, but why.. Instead, it even flow down faster than the last time, like a river of infinite flow of water.. But this time, It felt sweeter, my tears flavor this time became sweet like sugar. My heart pumped up and look at him. It beat faster and faster.

"Eh?" He said so after looking at my face, in his hand is a bowl. with warmth aroma but I dont care. All I care is he didnt abandon me...

I stand up, even with this fuzzy vision of mine and this stream thats covering my eyes. I dont care, as long as I saw him infront of me, that was enough.

I stepped forward, and run towards him

"Eh? oy!" he said as he raised his two hands carrying that single bowl.

BAM—

"Ahhh! The porridge!" He complained but my body already collide to his as we two went outside the door. and slam to the wall. As I hugging him while crying.

"I thought....Sniff— you abandoned me too! That you left me alone too!" I said so while digging my head to his hard body, he's a tree afterall. But, Even if you're Flame, a Lava or a Sun, I'll still hug you even if I burned to death, as long as I was beside you till my last breath.

Scrrrreak—

"Ouch—!" I cried out. Those emotion I felt immediately set aside after those pin on my chick.

"What is your problem? I buy some anti-hungover herb and concoct it, then made a porridge from it, all of the process takes 2 long hours you know? That was the best healing herb according to that Tree beside the tavern where you get drunk, go lick that porridge from the ground!" He said and pointes the ground

"Ehh!?" After that, I look where the bowl went. Sure thing it was on the ground.

"Heh? you've return from your dream haah?" He smirk.. Even if he doesnt have lips, he smirk!

"Ahhhhh—!" I shouted but he grabbed my head and made it look unto him.

"You'll eat it.. R.I.G.H.T.?—" He said so, as his two eyes(core) transformed and now looks like a mouth while saying the word. 'Right'.

"Ahhhh! Devil! you're devil!" I said so as—

TONG—

"Ouch!" He smacked my head and walked downstairs. Thereafter, the porridge whose on the ground last time returned inside the bowl as if it didnt spill in the first place.
