4 Bai's Suffering(?)

After an indeterminable amount of time, the young boy slowly regained his consciousness. He steadily opened his eyes, to find himself still in the dark.

"Ouch." His body was hurt as he stood up. Then he sat in front of the computer screen.

"What is this?" Unknowingly to him, the diary that he had thrown before, was on his hands. The young boy had no other choice but to read it to find an answer to his predicament.

'Maybe, there's a secret hidden in this diary.'

He calmed his breathing and flipped to the first page of the diary. The young boy steadily read the content and fell silent.

Moments later, the young boy closed the diary again, tears flowing from his eyes. The young boy related to Bai's story!

Bai was the village's youngest beggar. His family abandoned him in a small village when he was only ten years old. There, the young Bai struggled and had a very hard life. An old man was kind enough to take care of him and feed him. He gave him food, clothing and a place to sleep.

For 30 years, the young Bai worked on the old man's farm. Yes, for almost 30 years, he lived on the old man's farm. In the 30th year, the old man died tragically in a mysterious manner. Bai inherited the farm as the old man had no children nor any relatives, to begin with.

Few days after the old man's burial, Bai sold the entire property to someone else and Bai flew all the way to the main city, hoping to have a better life. The truth was, Bai was the one who killed the old man. Bai added a poisonous substance to the old man's food and resulting in the old man's death. He didn't want to live on a farm his entire life.

Bai thought that would have a grand life in the city. It did not happen. He faced through pain and suffering- mocked, beaten, and framed. The money he earned [Author's note: shamelessly] disappeared the moment he landed in the main city [Author's note: that's good].
