Chapter 1

Reincarnation is a one-of-a-kind and strange gift from God. Since the beginning of reincarnation, it has been one of the most perplexing mysteries to the human mind. Many religions and beliefs believe in reincarnation.

Depending on the moral quality of the previous life's actions, the soul may take the form of a human, animal, or plant. Reincarnation, on the other hand, implies that the person remains essentially the same while inhabiting a new body.

Reincarnation is the religious or philosophical belief that after biological death, the soul or spirit begins a new life in a new body that may be human, animal, or spiritual depending on the moral quality of the previous life's actions.

However, this goes against their basic teachings of a finite life for the human, for which he or she is judged and rewarded accordingly. Which of the human's lives is he/she to be judged on if he/she is to live multiple lives? The very first life? The final life? It's a true mystery.

If reincarnation is to be studied objectively from a scientific standpoint, it must first find a way to overcome such unscientific barriers. There is no strong objective evidence, nor are there specific research methods, that can solve the mystery of reincarnation. However, humans' current minds and intelligence are far too limited to perceive such paranormal phenomena to know everything.

But my life had been full of miracles, and I desperately wanted to leave this godforsaken life. I desired to lead a free life.

I had lived a life of despondency and yearned for something beautiful. I was simply envious as I read my novel about people reincarnating. While I was reading, I noticed a woman following a couple.

"She must have been cheated on by her boyfriend," I sneered as I stood there watching them. As I looked closely, I noticed that it was my boss, and the person next to him was my colleague, who was his secretary. My colleague informed me that the senior had a bad marriage life because he married his wife and was overdoting to her husband, which scared him. The wife would always show up and scare any lady who came across the senior.

It was reported that he divorced her because she began hitting his boss, a woman, and despised when he spoke with her; she even forced him to resign, but he refused because the company pays him well, and he was tired of her shenanigans and left her.

She must be plotting something against him now that she's returned. As I tried to stop senior, something hit me and I fell to the ground, my vision blurred, and people rushed towards me. I felt a pain in my stomach. A knife was piercing my stomach as I held on, and I was losing a lot of blood.People nearby grab hold of the insane woman, while my colleague calls an ambulance and my boss tries to apply pressure. I couldn't hear him, but his mouth expression told me to be strong.

Why, of all times, did it have to be now? I had a bad childhood, was never married, and now I've been stabbed and am on my way to heaven. What a lovely day to pass away. I died as my mind went completely blank.

When I opened my eyes, I was in a brightly lit room with freshly laundered curtains. As I looked around, a spark blinded my eyes and out came a beautiful woman dressed in a white senin gown, her hair shining like gold and her features beautiful, she was like a goddess in some ways.

" Yes I am a goddess" said the lady

I looked around and motioned with my finger, and she nodded. As I looked at her, I noticed that her legs were nothing but smoke as she walked around.

"Are you a ghost, or am I hallucinating?"

"No, you're dead, you poor soul was stabbed a couple minutes ago."

"What?" I exclaimed as I examined myself and discovered a large cut in my stomach, "So I'm really dead?"

The goddess hugged me and patted her hair, smoothing it as if my mother was stroking my head before her death. The gracious goddess led me to the front door.

As the door opened, I noticed a line of people everywhere. This has to be the entrance to heaven.

"Are you sure this is real?"

"Yes, my child," the goddess said as she led me to her table. I sat down as she snapped her fingers and a list appeared, with my name on the front page.

"I see your name is Kikka Kasukabe, a thirty-year-old woman in Tokyo, your mother died in illness, and you lived with your father for fifteen years and you left him after he remarried someone and drew more attention to your stepmother's daughter"

I stopped her, "Please don't mention my father and his new wife and daughter, I don't want to hear about my childhood again."

"I see, I'm so sorry, let me skip some details," she says as she skips, continuing, "So, after leaving, you went to work for a pharmaceutical company after studying medicine. Is that correct?"

"I see, you spend your life working and never married, and in your prayers, you always ask if you will have a good life," I nodded.

"Yes, I wanted to start a new life, a new me, and I had always fantasized about reincarnating myself like in a novel."

"Oh, sweet child, I can provide you with the life of reincarnation."

" You certainly can!"

"Yes, I can, but you should earn a living by gaining yourself in your new body."

"I will, I will cherish everything I can with my new life," I begged the goddess.

"OK, all you need to do is sign this scroll and you will be reincarnated," she replied.

"Yes Miss" I took the feather and placed in the ink to sign while reading the print, as I was about to sign, the goddess stopped.

"I may give you a new chance to live; not only will you live, but all of your previous memories will be with you, except for what you have learned, and it is our policy that each reincarnation receives a boon of protection from evil and will be judged by their actions. If he/she does not follow these instructions, you can either terminate him/her or protect yourself from enemies." I was instructed by the goddess

"I understand and agree to all terms and conditions," I said as I signed the scroll. "Great, now that it's done," she says as she walks across the table and brings out a drink. She pours a glass for me and hands it to me. "This marks the beginning of your journey; drink it and you will be transported to the body." I gulped and took a sip, and it tasted like honey; as I drank it all, my head began to ache, and a spark appeared in my mind as the goddess waved me goodbye.

It was black and white, and when I opened my eyes, I was in a cot.

"What is this? What exactly is going on here, you ask? What am I doing here?"

I couldn't move because I had been reincarnated as a baby. As I looked around, I noticed myself in a mirror, a pale white child with white hair and ruby eyes. As soon as the door opened, I was picked up by a foreign lady and touched by a man dressed in finery. I couldn't understand what they were saying, but I knew I'd been reborn as Corrina.
