11 CHAPTER 10:RENE.

Rius was angry at this person for wanting to kill himself. He didn't knew who this person was but judging by his current condition this person must have jumped into the abyss, refering to this place, to die. At first his approach was soft because he thought the white haired kid was an actual five year old. But, after observing him for longer he was sure that this child was no ordinary kid. His mental age and the soul was probably older. Just like Rius and his younger sister, this broken kid was not your typical normal kid. If you compare Rius or Risha to Rahad and Raputa, the two latter were normal kids. This was so obvious and if observed them closely, anyone could tell.

Once Rius has ascertain this, he let it out. Beating the other person and attempting to kill him was an absolutely brazen thing to do to someone but sometimes it takes a person to throw a stone at others to make them aware of certain things.

Sometimes silence was the best answer.

Rius bent down on his kees. He grasped the white haired kid by his face. Looking at his bloodied face he felt extreme guilt.

"Look at me." He said. Those pair of red eyes stared at him in complete obedience. Rius could see his own face reflected in those ruby like eyes.

"I am sorry for beating you up."

His eyes widened when the Mystique apologised to him, the expression on his face looked very sincere. It was dripping with a bit of warmth. The pair of little hands touching his cheeks felt scalding hot.

"It must have been hard for you."

"!!!"

His gaze fell on the ground. The vision of the green grass became blurry.

"Let me heal you." He heard the Mystique say. He didn't answer so the other person healed him. During the process none of them said a single word to each other.

It took a few seconds for Rius to heal the wounds he has inflicted on this small body. After all, some of the internal injuries were a bit too much.

"....." Maybe he used a bit too much force earlier in the fight.

"...." The other person was amazed by how fast the healing magic was. Even earlier, the strength of the little palm touching him right now was so overwhelmingly scary.

Their fight ended with a peaceful closure.

After that day Rius didn't visit the kid for a while. While he was gone the other was waiting silently.

When he finally visited again, Rius noticed the curious gaze of the other person.

"My name is Rius. What's yours?" He asked at the child staring at him coldly.

"I don't need my old name."

"....." Rius had brought some popcorn with him. They were sitting together by the edge of the land, chewing popcorn, viewing at the seaside.

Not having a name to call for was inconvenient.

"You can give me a new one. A new name." He thought about it for a while. As if taking a new name was a small thing, he demanded a new name from Rius.

Rius stared at him. Tilting his head to his left he did it as the other child wished. "Rene."

"Rene?"

"Yes. In a world called Twilight Galaxy, the name symbolises a new begining in the language of flower. The name suits you." Rius recalled the image of the white flower blooming under the bright sun. The middle of the flower was embedded with red beads that beamed when exposed to light. Just like Rene's red eyes.

"Do you like it?"

Rene. It wasn't bad. "I like it." He hummed with a slight smile. Rene. He was Rene from today.

They sat down together for a few hours. During this time they revealed some secrets that could shake this world.

"I died for real once. It was so painful. After that I died a few more times as someone else." Rius has never shared this with his family. He himself wasn't sure why he was telling this to somone he just few a few days ago.

However, he felt the need to share it. Rene needed to hear it atleast.

"Was it painful?"

Rius shook his head. "Compared to the first death the rest were less painful. When I died as Sirius, it hurt so badly."

"Is Sirius your real name?"

"Yes." His life as Sirius ended rather pitifully. Turning to Rene he asked the same. "What about you?"

Rene fell into a deep thought. His first life was bad. But his second life up until now was even worse. Though he didn't knew how it would go from now....

Staring at Rius, Rene thought to himself that he was going to try and trust this guy. He will give life another chance as Rene.

"Sorrell. That was my name from my first life."

By the time it started to get late, It was time for Rius to return. If not, his mother might worry.

"Do you want to live with us?"

Rene stared at the hand stretching towards him. Rius had told him about his family.

"What if I become a hindrance? I am fine staying her....ack!"

Rius flicked him on his forehead.

Rene rubbed his forehead in pain. Even a flick of his finger held so much power.

"Idiot. It's better to bring you back with me rather than having you discovered by them." After all the commotion he had caused during the fight, mother must have noticed it. He thought to himself.

The tone of his words were surprisingly soft. It was sweet and warm. Rene noticed the slight smile on Rius's face. His rainbow eyes were sparkling brightly, as if shooting stars were blooming inside his eyes.

"A smile that could bewitch even the elements of nature"

Those words in ancient history records weren't exaggerating when describing a Mystique's smile.

"Take my hand." Said a tall handsome man dressed in expensive dark clothes.

"Your name will be Sorrell."

Ahh..... Rene felt as if the same scene were replaying. Except that he was no longer Sorrell Inaha, the boy Ansell saved.

Nor was he the prince of werewolves.

Now he was Rene.

Just Rene.

He took the hand stretching towards him.

"If you say so...."

He was going to give himself a second chance in this lifetime.

As Rene.
