Chapter 2

The sky outside of the school had suddenly turned dark showing a moonless night despite the clocks signaling two in the afternoon. All corridors where gloomy-looking, filled with a metallic smell, the silence made everything a million times scarier.

Chu Hua kept silently swearing to god inside while smiling outside to the minor BOSS in front of her. Few seconds ago her indifferent senior warned her to either follow or stay in the bathroom, 'be a sacrifice or die by yourself'?

Shedding tears in her heart a cannon fodder exclaimed ''I'm not so stupid as to stay in a bathroom, where this body was supposed to die originally, even if I didn't offend you, but yet!!'' of course such a thing shouldn't be said out loud in front of a ruthless BOSS, even if it's a minor one, still too much dangerous. So she simply kept smiling weakly and nodding as if being mute.

I'm just a weak passerby please pay me no mind.

Apparently her slow walk seemed rather annoying to Hei Fan who grabbed her right wrist and forced Chu Hua to follow her pace. At least, this time the hand was lightly weaker and didn't bruise her already reddened skin.

Biting an invisible handkerchief 'I miss my cute easy going senior, can I go back to prepare mentally? No?' the unfortunate Chu Hua decided to accept her fate and not cry anymore.

Both girls reached the end of the corridor where the stairs started to go down from the left and up from the right. Near the stairs was Chu Hua's classrom, she glanced lightly at Hei Fan and started to walk towards the classrom silently. She had been told to do whatever she wanted as long as it wasn't bothersome, looking around for a bit wasn't going to trigger any flag.

Probably.

She recalled the information obtained from her memories, they were quite blurry when it came to details but it wasn't truly important. Chu Hua's feet slipped on something while thinking deeply and barely managed not to fall by grabbing the door.

Her eyes quickly found it was...a rainbow-ish liquid. Actually, most of the classroom was filled with this rainbow thing and a bunch of human-sized plushies were positioned randomly, some had missing parts and fluffy white stuff comming out from their bellies and extremities.

Chu Hua felt at a loss a second time. As bizarre as it sounded, everything was gloomy except for these weird things. She looked outside at the corridor again, apparently being thinking so much made her not notice that where there should be blood was a rainbow liquid and instead of corpses there were plushies.

Hei Fan who was examining something from her classroom didn't seem to notice anything strange.

Suddenly, a mechanical voice intruded her mind [Host died as a minor, this system can't allow host to see such violent scenes so it was censured.]

Chu Hua, ''....''

'I'm seventeen what kind of b*llshit are you talking about.'

Apparently spooked, the system's voice sounded a little bit softer [Host, don't hate this young system. Host is still a minor nonetheless.]

Not being able to do anything except to purse her lips so not to catch Hei Fan's attention, Chu Hua could only keep discussing with the dumb system in her mind.

Hei Fan meanwhile started to walk downstairs, the black haired girl followed quickly behind.

'If you add my years here to my years when I died, I count as an adult. Stop censuring, it's making me weirded out!' finally, the so-called system gave up and returned her sight to normal. Reality wasn't any better but at least she was able to analyze things properly.

It was impossible to understand what happened to a dead body if all you could see was white stuff and rainbows.

Fortunately, Chu Hua liked to see horror very much and the past her did also enjoy a lot of creepy stuff. She wouldn't throw up except for disgusting smells she wasn't used to, neither would she get scared easily.

Of course that didn't mean she couldn't feel danger, the person in front of her expelled enough of a dangerous aura for her to want to run away, but since Chu Hua hadn't been considered a problem so far, it was more or less safe.

Actually, a bigger problem at the moment was the fact she needed a bathroom. In a really urgent manner. She looked at the girl from time to time, not daring to bring the topic up. She would probably be told to get lost or something, she sighed. She wouldn't risk going alone.

Hei Fan seemed to be searching for something, sweeping her gaze around carefully and playing with the same candy she was holding minutes before absentmindedly. Chu Hua remembered the girl's attitude shouldn't have changed in front of others even after the start of the plot, the ghost that f*cked her mind had made sure to hide it's bad intentions with a nice bestfriend demeanour until the very last moments, acting in the dark.

Why then was she acting so cold towards Chu Hua? She wondered. She had never done anything to make a bad impression on this minor BOSS, actually they only met briefly twice before the plot, both were caused due to Chu Hua trying to approach her but being too shy and barely managing to talk a couple of things before finding a reason to run away.

Hei Fan never seemed to dislike her at all, she only smiled softly and answered smoothly. There was no attempt to start a conversation but neither to stop it.

They reached the last step of stairs, there was a teacher in front with her head hanging low. Chu Hua realized it was her literature teacher by the clothing style.

Chu Hua: I used to like a girl who was soft and nice but she suddenly turned to be cold and indifferent, what to do *sigh*.

Hei Fan who was just trying to put her emotions in place the whole time:...

Hong Li: Take me instead, take me! I'll be a good wife! *smile smile*.
