Chapter 51

"There is no lock on the door..." After carefully inspecting all the rooms in the penthouse, Sam whispers. "Although they're strangely heavy for wooden doors, none of them seem to have a lock on it. She really planned this from the start, didn't she."

Nycta comes close to Sam's ears. As the distance between them shortens, he can feel the gentle breath of her on his neck as well as the delicate fragrance of her perfume. "What's wrong, Sam?"

"There is no lock." He says, pointing to the room.

Nycta appears to be surprised. "Oh, really!? I have no idea! Must have been the constructor's fault. Nevertheless, I'm blind and I live alone, anyway. So no need for locks."

Suspicious, very suspicious. He thinks as he keeps looking into Nycta's black eyes, trying to find any clue in her expressions.

The other party just stand completely still, smiling. She is confident he would not find out her first plan.

Of course, Sam has every right to be cautious. What she is telling him both makes sense and contradicts itself at the same time. There is no way Nycta did not install locks inside of her house.

Unbeknownst to the guy, inside of the wooden material exists metal plates. However, the type of which she uses can be...unconventional. That is the reason why they are so heavy. And around the frame of the doors are magnetic locks painted the same color as the walls.

These magnetic locks are many times stronger than normal. They have the same properties as the railways of bullet trains.

Unless the person knows how to look and where to look, they will never see these well-hidden devices.

Furthermore, these work according to her voice, and her voice only through a trigger phrase. It is "Sam, let's sleep together."

Once Nycta says so, the instrument will be activated, locking the doors with magnetism. The others can try and break them open to escape. Still, the material is not only hard but also Manafused. Until the other girls can break out of their temporary prison, Nycta is already done with the thing.

She has prepared the first move a long time ago.

Tonight, she will give it all to him.

While Nycta is showing Sam around, Yui, Yuno, and Lily are having their own discussion.

Around them is the Sound Proof magic that the twins made, making sure Nycta will know nothing of the conversation.

"We need to team up if we want to have a chance at winning here. This is her turf, there must be a trap somewhere, just waiting for us to activate." Lily says so, looking far away at the blind girl.

"Yui agrees. Right, Yuno?" The little sister turns her gaze at Yuno, who is looking bored.

"Yuno doesn't want to think. Yuno wants to try the beds. Yui can think for Yuno and then we will work together." Running inside a room, Yuno jumps on the king-size mattress. "Oomph. THIS IS SOOOOOOOO SOFT!" She lets out some weird sounds as she rolls all around it.

Lily struggles to hold back the laughter while the little twin sister facepalms.

"Haaaaaaaa." Yui sighs. "She is always like this."

"It's fine. There's nothing wrong with being carefree."

"Okay, so Lily, Yui agrees with you. We should all work as a team for now. However, Lily must share the Viagra with us." The two walk towards the sofas and sit down.

"You know you can buy these anywhere, right?" Lily's eyes change very slightly.

The little girl crosses her legs like a lady boss. What is still missing to complete her 'grown up' image is probably a glass of wine. "Yui knows that what you have is the good stuff. The stuff we can not get over the counter. If you want us to work together, why don't you show Yui a little bit of sincerity?"

"Then what can you bring onto the table? Surely I can not be the only one giving something, right?" Lily stares straight at the girl.

Nodding slightly, the different-colored eyes of Yui shine. "Certainly, Yui and Yuno will also be lending our strength to you. We can offer you intelligence."

"What kind of intelligence?"

"Our affinity is wind, Lily. What travels in the air? Sounds. We can hear what Nycta is saying through walls by using magic."

As Yui is talking, shortly, a puff of wind blows onto Lily's face.

Wind Magic: Sound Amplification.

Immediately after, the voice of Nycta, which has been very small due to the distance between them, has increased exponentially.

"What do you want for lunch? Eggs? Bacon? Bacon sandwich?"

It seems like Nycta is trying to make Sam a meal.

"Anything is fine? No, no, Sam! You are still growing. You need to have something nutritious!"

"Of course, I'm growing too, especially these girls! Look! Boing boing. D cups! Do you like them? They're bigger than Lily's. Most definitely bigger than Yui and Yuno's."

Yui cuts the sound off abruptly with a dark face. She looks down on her chest and she can see her thighs instantly. There is nothing that is blocking the view.

The little girl takes both of her hands and puts them on the humble chest, massaging them, trying to get a hold of the size. Tears are forming at the corners of her eyes.

"Th...they are growing!! They will! Yui is still not done with her growth spurt!! I will have a much bigger chest than anyone of you girls!"

Lily's whole body trembles, struggling to hold back from bursting. "Of...of course...Kuh."

"Don't laugh at Yui!!!" Yui cries.

"BWAHAHAHAHA!!!"

"Sh...She said she was bigger than you, too!"

"Still better than your chopping board! Baha hahaha!!!"

"OH MY GODDESS!! LILY!!!!"

While Sam is choosing the room for himself, and the girls each are planning some kind of assault on him, at another location, things are not looking so great.

Bianca has not woken up even after many days.

Although she is being treated by the best medicine and by the best doctors money could ever ask for, there has been no improvement to her condition.

To be more exact, her mental condition has not been getting any better.

Hero sits quietly by the bed with hands on his knees, subconsciously interlocking the fingers together.

He looks at his lover still being asleep. She lies there on the gigantic fancy bed in a deep slumber, in a vegetable state. On her head, many electrical nodes are connected, sending signals to a monitor. The brainwave patterns look to be in the green zone, yet she has not recovered.

Bianca's body is relatively thin. Over the last week, she has had to be fed through a tube with liquidated food, as she is in no condition to eat anything.

Her gorgeous face, as well as the rest of her white skin, is now scrawny and fragile. In addition, the left side of her face is covered in white bandages, hiding her charm away.

She is not the Bianca that Hero first saw when he saved her.

Every now and then, some doctors would come in to check in on her. Each time, they would all say that she is recovering nicely, but the stress she received might have been too much for her mind.

Which explains the reason for her being in the current state.

Bianca was severely injured by Marie, also one of his lovers. But at this point, Hero should be considering Marie to be his ex.

A week ago, after that incident, Marie has left him for good. The Hero understood nothing why she was reacting in such an aggressive way. Marie was never the type to go berserk like that.

He could have never guessed that Marie would plunge her arm into Bianca's eye and crushed it.

He could have never even thought of that.

The Hero was oblivious to many things, he never cared for the verbal abuse Marie had when facing Bianca. He did not see the despise in Bianca's eyes when she looked at Marie nor the difference in the way the maids treated the two.

He just loved the sex.

The Hero could not help Marie when she was unstable, to the point that the maids had to cut her arm off to save Bianca.

He had all the power, all the talents that anyone would kill for. Yet he was not the savior Marie needed.

It was him who pushed Marie to her prison. When Marie jumped out of the window, he did not call her back. He relied on the maids, on the guards to find her.

The Hero was truly despicable, useless.

He thought that this world would be easy since he managed to keep his memories and his soul untouched by the Goddess. Like all the novels he read, he would be the only one to succeed. Things would always go south for The Hero because if not him, then who?

And now, at this instance, he is still useless. He does not know what to do to help Bianca. His magic can not bring her eye back. He can not find Marie, as well. She does not need him anymore.

His sense of superiority is crumbling down every day.

This world is not a novel. He knows at least that. But he never really thought about how it would affect his psychology.

It is real, down to the core. The people here have souls, they have pride, anger, sadness, love. All of those he looks down upon, are the actual citizens of this world.

He is the alien.

They are not the two-dimensional beings he read on a blank piece of paper.

They live, and they will gobble him up like the trash he used to be back in his old life.

On his phone, there is a message. Hero has looked at that message many many times.

The sender was Marie.
