I couldn't believe the nerve of Dante. How could he expect me to just talk to him like nothing happened?

I wiped at the tears falling down my cheeks. 

A knock sounded on the door. I felt my body stiffen. I quietly walked over and held down the handle. 

As the door opened I came face to face with Dante's parents. 

His father had a stern look on his face, while his mother seemed genuinely concerned about me. 

"We've been waiting for you to return home." Kevlar informed me, his tone disapproving. "Violetta told me that she did inform you yesterday that we wanted to speak to you today about the honeymoon ."

I stiffened once more. 

I had forgotten about the honeymoon. Yet again. 

I nodded. "Yes, she did."
