"Father." I whispered, trying to find the courage to speak again. " I've heard from Dante that Ben is not who he says he is, he's done some bad things in the past, things he wasn't okay with telling me, things he doesn't want us to know. I went to the beach with Dante today in hopes of him telling me what Ben had done in the past that was so wrong. I just wanted to make sure that he wasn't a bad person before I went ahead and got married to him." I confessed.

"What do I do with you?" My father demanded. "Did you really believe the words coming out of Dante Clarke's mouth? Do you not know that they are liars? They're everything I've thought you to stay away from and now you want to tell me that you believed the nonsense coming out of that low life's mouth? I've known Ben and his father for a long time, they are good people.
