"Ahem."

Rowan's attention was no longer divided and only focused on the man's next words.

What would he say this time? The man in the mirror was truly curious about the brain circuits of Luken. It seemed to always take a wrong turn, not that Rowan minded.

Though, this time, Luken finally grasped onto the right words to say after a few seconds of contemplation.

He decided that he should he personal enough to become closer to Rowan. However, not too personal to make it feel like he was trying to make Rowan carry his problems of life.

Luken's next words exuded an aura of fondness with a touch of helplessness, still it did not melt his frozen facade: "I have a grandfather. He is my sole living family member. He raised me since I was younger."

His eyes flashed slightly with displeasure as he recalled his enthronement, "He's barely tolerable. That old man."

Closing his eyes slightly, Luken calmed himself down when thinking of that elder whom thrown all his responsibilities as king on top if Luken.

"He sends books of random value and categories every month or so. There is a high chance that he may come upon the solution to your predicament."

The library had more than a thousand books and was constantly growing. They would eventually find the answer to help Rowan. He will fulfill his initial promise to Rowan. That way, they could officially meet.

After a small pause lasting for just a second, Luken aimed his expectant eyes towards the mirror. Not seeing anything but his own reflection, Luken still felt like he was actually looking at Rowan himself. Now that he told something personal about himself, they should be friends, right?

"Are we friends now?"

Rowan did not have high expectations for what Luken was going to say about himself as he already deduced the man as unsociable and awkward, in a good way, since he just becomes more... handsome? In Rowan's eyes at least.

That man told very little information about himself and reaffirmed the future fulfillment of his promise of freeing him from the damned mirror.

Thus, Luken was already considered a friend of Rowan. Also, how could he say no to a man who tried very hard to communicate? And he also has the advantage of good looks.

The answer was, of course, "Yes, we are friends."

His answer was rewarded with glimmering sunset eyes and being held up high above Luken's head.

Joy was, somewhat, displayed on Luken's face with the little rise of his eyebrows and his lips, for once, pulled ever so slightly up into a tiny, natural smile.

"Then, we are friends."
