1 - A greedy symbiote

A golden sludge crashed right through Cortex who was on a mission to assassinate someone in a forest.

This sludge hang at Cortex as he struggled.

He used his powers to dupe himself. Nothing good happened as the sludge was duplicated alongside him.

A hive mind was created between all the duplicated sludge. They were confused but they still hang at their respective Cortex trying to possess him.

When Cortex saw this he absorbed all of his clones back which made things worse for him. Some sludge jumped off of his clone when he was absorbing them as the duped sludges joined the main sludge.

Soon the sludge was inside him, depriving Cortex off his powers.

All of this took 5 seconds to happen, hence why Cortex couldn't properly discharge energy as an attack and he was all panicky that he forgot to transfer his consciousness into one of his many clones around the world.

A systematic voice was heard by the sludge, not including Cortex.

When Cortex realized that his powers were gone he was angry, "SHIT! GET OFF ME YOU MONSTER!"

It was already too late. The deprived powers were now owned by the sludge's. The sludge that was inside him talked.

"You're my host now! And soon you will obey me unconditionally!"

Cortex hearing this couldn't accept it as he still tried to get the sludge, now he deemed as a parasite, out of him. He was kneeling as he scratched his chest and arms with his nails but soon the scratching stopped.

His body was growing weak, his face also look sunken, you could even see the outline of the skull. He was severely hungry. He couldn't even lift a finger with how fast he was growing weak. Oh, he fainted.

Greed didn't suffer from this as it was his fault. He was too greedy for food he absorbed almost all of the nutrients inside Cortex's body, you could say he was also a glutton.

Greed transformed into a golden hunk body with complete silver eyes with a height of 8 feet 6 inches.

He traveled the forest to find something to eat.

He ate the heads of anything he could find. A rabbit, a deer, a wolf, a squirrel, an owl. Basically, any forest animals he could find, he ate.

By the fifteenth head eaten, he transferred some nutrients to Cortex to keep him alive.

Inside his minds, "Wake up, Cortex!" **

Cortex was forcefully awaken by the symbiote. He tried to look around but couldn't even move his body. Just like before, he struggled and struggled and soon he was too tired to move again, this time he didn't faint.

He analyzed his situation and realized he was inside the creature that entered him.

"You... I don't know what you are but you will regret doing this!"

"Oh really? You think someone will come looking for you? I removed any foreign entities inside you besides me. No one can track you, not even that Doom person who made what you are now." Greed said as he voraciously eat the heads of the animals.

Cortex closed his eyes in disgust, "Sooner or later you will be found."

A systematic voice was once again heard by Greed.
