Ren followed his father with a stiff expression.

'What is the reason he wanted to talk to me'

He was thinking of the reason his

'father' had called him to the study.

He was thinking that he had screwed while eating the breakfast.

He was the richest man in the country, so his every minute is precious, So there must be a good reason that he want to talk to me.

'I should have acted like Ren but I don't know how he was acts in front of his family'

He didn't have find something odd about me and found out that I am not his real son, right.

As he was thinking about the reason behind his father calling him to the study, he noticed that he was already sitting face to face with his father.

They were both staring at each other. Both wanted to say something but don't know how to say it. Finally his father gave in and spoke.

"It seems like your condition is getting better"

'Wait, what condition is he talking about'

As Ren continue to maintain a stiff smile on his face, his father spoke again.

"I know you don't like to talk about your mental health but I think we have to talk about it as it seems like you are recovering. What do you think?"

Ren wasn't able to understand what is Xin Hai speaking. He was having countless thoughts at the moment.

"Sure"

He finally answered in a stiff stone as he know that maybe he will able to know about Ren's past from this conversation.

"It seems like you had really gotten better. I thought that you will continue to stay in your room and will not come today either but you came and you also seems to have recovered somewhat"

As Ren continues to maintain his smile, his father spoke again.

"After the incident with your mother, you are the most affected by it. I know you were dependent on your mother and always spends time with her. It was really all my fault. If I wasn't so busy with work and have given you sometime, maybe your condition should have been better."

He continues his words after a sigh.

"I know you resent me for marrying your stepmother shortly after your mother died but the reason for marrying her was mostly because I was concerned for you, I thought you will be able to gain the mother's love you have lost but it has a adverse effect. You instead started resenting her."

The more Ren continues to listen, the more shocked he felt but he was still smiling while staring at his father.

"You continued to stay in your room and rarely came out, your mental conditions were also deteriorating. I was really worried about you, you also refused to meet the psychiatrist but when today I see you, I thought that you have finally recovered"

"I know you got a shock because of your mother's death but you just can't stay in your room and cry for her death. You have to overcome it."

As he stop talking, Ren's mind was still digesting all the information he had received.

As Ren was sorting all of the information, his father started speaking again.

"You remember that last time, I told you about my friend who has a business in Liankou city, right"

Ren was again stunned when his father started talking about his friend in Liankou city. He had a hunch that he know who the friend was. He nodded to his father question.

"He is my good friend, we were together in college. He also had a big business in Liankou city. Well, actually I wanted you to go to Liankou city to attend high school. Your condition has improved slightly, So you can go to Liankou city to recovered fully. My friend is there so, he will take care of you. So, what do you say?"

When he said that, Xin Hai was still thinking that Ren will not agree. Although, he can see that the his son condition had improved somewhat but he was not sure whether he will agree or not to go to another city. Well, the truth was that he know that if Ren stayed in the capital, those young masters will not left him alone and can try to take advantage of him. So, he wanted to send his son to a close friend of his. The close friend of his also had a daughter, So who knows maybe something will happen between them.

On the other hand, Ren was thinking that his doubts were getting clearer. In the novel he had never written why had Ren gone to Liankou city.

He was also debating whether he should go to Liankou city or not. It is the city were the story started and the place where he could meet all the characters he had created.

If he decided to go, there is a chance that he will meet the main character and maybe help him somewhat but he was also somewhat scared to meet him as the mc of his story had gone complete crazy because of his bad writing and killed many people without blinking his eyes.

He clearly knows that the mc wouldn't have gone crazy yet but he was still somewhat scared.

'Who knows maybe GOD007 had changed the character setting'

But this is unlikely as far he had seen, the characters of Xin Hai and Xin Hu were same.

After debating for sometime, he finally decided to answer his father who was staring at him.

"Ah, father I will go there"

After thinking for sometime, he ultimately decided to go there. There were various reasons for this but the most important reason was that he can befriend the mc.

'Being in good terms with the mc will surely give benefits'

Hearing the words from his son's mouth, Xin Hai was overjoyed and he couldn't sit still.

"Hahaha, Ren you had made a good decision. You can leave in Liankou city till you graduate from high school. Don't worry there will be no problems there"

Ren again nodded and his father started talking again.

"You should not care about your daily necessities, I will arrange them for you in Liankou city. I will talk to the principal of the high school you are going to attend and told him to take care of you. If you have any other requests, you can also tell them to me"

When Xin Hai said about any requests he can tell him, Ren spoke.

"I have one request"

When his father heard his words, he gazed on him suddenly intensified as expecting something.

Even the maids and servants had been strictly given instructions not to tell anyone that Ren is still here. They didn't even know Ren's condition and had a misconception that Ren is a Neet.

"You can go now, your flight will be tomorrow afternoon, Ran jing will go with you"

Hearing that Ran jing will going with him, Ren wanted to refute him but in the end, he just accepted it and left.

In the study, when Ren left Xin Hai face was full of smiles. He take out a photo from his wallet and said while smiling.

After coming to his room, Ren started searching for more information about this world.

He remembered that he had changed some of the history of this world to give it a a feel of alternate earth.

He also searched the important characters.

Next, he started searching about himself or rather the previous Ren.

He found lots of information about himself. He also found out that there were almost no pictures of him on the internet.

Supposedly, Ren had kept a low profile as his mother was worried about kidnapping and there were almost no pictures of him on internet which was a good thing for him as he wanted to keep a low profile for the time being.

He ate his food in his room and decided to slept early as various things happened to him today.

He also thought about future events that will happen and how to avoid then. The conclusion he got was that he don't need to do anything, he just have to stand in the back while the mc deals with the problems and grow.

Well, actually there were not many major events that will happen. [The Immortal cultivator] was mostly a light hearted novel where the mc grows into a rich and powerful man from a average high schooler.

It has many cliche scenes and most chapters will only show mc meeting with a new heroine and face slapping others.

At that time, I was fan of harem novels and didn't thought realistically and made every girl fall for the mc in seconds after meeting him and they also accepted the fact that mc had other women's.

It was really a foolish choice. Even the people around them don't thought anything about it and just accepted it saying' it is only right for him to have many women'.

It was really ridiculous but I am sure that GOD007 will change this for sure.

'Sigh'

With that sigh, I fall in sleep on my luxurious bed.

"Father."

Ren looked at his father who was standing behind him.

"Isn't it too excessive to use a private plane just to go to Liankou city. Didn't I told you I don't want to attract attention"

He had previously told his father that he wants to stay low key but his father has prepared a private plane for him to go to Liankou city.

"Ah..."

As Xin Hai was speaking, someone else's voice interjected itself into their conversation.

"I told him to prepare the private jet"

It was Xin Hai's wife, Yu Lishi.

Her hair was perfectly down, without a single stray hair, as she was staring at him. She looked so similar to her son with brown hair and black eyes. She was 39 this year but was still beautiful.

"We can't have you, Xin family first son get on a public airplane. What would we do if there was some trouble on the plane. Private plane is much better."

It was an extremely stoic voice. Yu Lishi stared at Ren before continuing.

"… I am not saying you are a troublemaker."

"I know."

She hesitated for a moment before continuing.

"People who have money and power are always in danger. Although you are currently studying in abroad in other people's eyes but what if one of our enemies found out that you are here and do something to you in the plane"

Yu Lishi. Ren quietly watched her.

As he remembered he had written about her past in his novel.

She strive hard to give her husband and son a good life and became a successful lawyer but her husband was jealous of her success. His husband company got bankrupted and he become broke and started drinking. He became a drunkard and started beating her. In the end, she divorced him and came to the capital. Here, she worked for Xin Hai as his secretary and lawyer for 6 years and fell in love with him. After his wife's death, she and his father got married.

In Ren opinion, she had a lot of pride for herself and her family. She was once striped off her family, so she cherish her family quite a bit.

She also knows that Ren doesn't like her but had tried to be a good mother to him in the past but Ren had just brushed her off.

"...I just think you will be comfortable on the private plane"

That was her way of telling Ren that she is worried for him.

She is a prideful woman but she cares and worries about her family a lot. She had raised his son alone for several years so, she knows the worth of a family. That was also one of the reasons his father got married to her.

Ren has also wanted to take a private plane. It was not like he don't want to live a high class life. As he was only a poor person on earth, he also wanted to experience the life of rich.

'How nice it would be to live as the son of the richest man in the country and flaunt off his wealth'

Anybody would think about living a life as the richest person in the country. He also had dreams of being the son of Bill Gates and Steve Jobs.

However, he just wanted to be low key for sometime. At least until he was sure that the mc will not kill him. He also wanted to get used to the attention he is receiving. Due to his handsome face, there were quite a few people looking at him on the airport.

He wanted sometime to adjust to live as Xin Ren.

As for the private plane, he will just accept it as his stepmother was just worried for him.

"Okay, I will go with the private plane... Thank you for worrying about me.

As Ren said that he could clearly see that there was a slight smile on Yu Lishi face before it disappeared. His father, who had been watching this from the start, let out a fake cough to cover up his slowly rising smile and spoke towards Ren.

"You don't have to worry that it will create unnecessary attention. I know many people in Liankou, nobody will know about your identity until you want to reveal it"

He nodded towards his father and he continued talking.

"Did you verify the information of the major families and officials in the city I gave you?"

His father had used his connections to obtain information about the major families and officials in Liankou city as Ren had asked him for it. He had asked for it as he wanted to know if his settings in novel had changed or not.

"Yes. It was pretty interesting."

"There are four major families there-the Lin family, the Chi family, the Shu family and the Hong family. There are also some interesting officials. Some are ambitious, some are greedy and some are just lapdogs of the major families"

"There would be some children of the major families and officials studying in your school"

"Yes, I will not provoke them and be careful"

"No, no you don't have to be cautious towards them, I just hope that that will not provoke you thoughtlessly or they have to suffer some serious consequences"

As his father said that with a smile, his stepmother also nodded.

'My family is really powerful'

"Well you just have to take care and don't give much trouble to your Uncle Lin."

He said as he patted Ren's shoulders. Then, he saw his stepbrother who was awkwardly standing there thinking of what to say.

His younger brother, Xin Hu stood awkwardly for some time but soon came before him and said.

"....P...please have a safe trip."

"Thanks. You be safe here too."

He vigorously nodded his head.

It was just a scene of saying goodbye but his father and stepmother faces were filled with smiles as they watched this.

"Well, you should leave now with Ran jing"

Ran jing!

As his father spoke, then he finally noticed Ran jing standing not far away from him.

He nearly got a shock as he hadn't even noticed her yet.

'She can also hide her presence. What a scary woman!'

Despite his thoughts he silently followed after her.

It's time to head on to Liankou city.

'I hope I will not encounter any problems there'
