633 Under the bed

Ivy and Dane held their breaths, looking at each other under the darkness of the suite. When Tiger told them to escape, they didn't hesitate to leave the man alone. They weren't as fearless as him, or maybe they didn't have the death wish Tiger had. Therefore, they hid in a place that they first saw. 

Under the bed. 

"What are you doing here?" she asked under her breath. Her voice was barely above a whisper that even she didn't almost hear it. "Shouldn't you be helping him?"

"Me? No!" Dane mouthed in dismay. "I'll just hold him back if I stay with him."

Ivy opened her mouth, only to shut them closed once again. She pressed her lips into a thin line, biting her bottom lips. Despite the lack of light, her eyes already adjusted to the darkness. Hence, she could vaguely see Dane's face.

"Why are you here?" she asked quietly. "Shouldn't you be in the event hall? Dead?"
