Heaven studied the conflict in Ivy's eyes, which made her sigh in disappointment. Surely, Ivy had a bad taste in men. But compared to Dane, Tiger was much better in terms of other things. At least Tiger was capable of protecting her. Not that Heaven had any say in it.

Ivy was pretty, intelligent, and a woman who almost had it all. Meanwhile, Tiger might look like that, but on a serious note, the man was very capable and well-respected in the underground. The only problem was that Ivy's life would change if the two ended up together.

'She has no idea,' Heaven thought, sighing for the second time.

"Come here, you poor thing," she murmured, taking a step toward Ivy and pulling her into her embrace. "Why are you like this?"

"I don't know." Ivy pressed her lips, hugging her friend back. "I can't understand myself sometimes."
