"Did you just speak?" Verona suddenly asked which made my wolf titled its head to its side since it was confused and so did I.

"I mean, like how humans could talk…" She cleared as she was staring at me like she's waiting for my response then she just sigh and waved it off.

"Could she understand us in wolf form?" I asked my wolf privately which I noticed Verona jolted a little while staring at the stream. I could tell she heard it.

'Not sure.'

"Talk to her then…" I encouraged my wolf which made my wolf form release some wolf huff like it was whining.

'But...I am afraid that she'll fear us.'

"How would you know if you're not gonna try." Before I could even counter my wolf, Verona suddenly spoke while her back was still facing us.

"See. Go and try." I told my wolf that shook its whole body before approaching our mate.

'Veron, can you hear me?'
