6 Chapter 6: Oliva-ify Impel Down

After getting rid of the jailers, Luo Ning entered the Blade Forest. The moment he stepped in, he get 1000 freedom points.

"Some special places are indeed the key to the trigger. In this way, each of these floors should be able to get some freedom points."

Luo Ning was sure when he saw the 1,000 free points he got. Even though he came to these places to obtain free points, it was completely his freedom. So what if he had a purpose? It fits his perception.

"Okay," Luo Ning said, deciding on a course of action. "Let's set a small goal first. We'll visit the deep sea prison and reach Oliva's level."

After consuming these free points, Luo Ning marched straight towards the large opening leading to the second floor.

The needleweed lining the path posed no threat, easily crushed beneath his steps.

At this moment, Luo Ning couldn't help but be reminded of another anime character – Oliva from Baki the Grappler. Though a prisoner, Oliva considered the prison his home.

Even with the surprisingly good treatment inside, Luo Ning feels he is getting closer to Oliva now. Honestly, wouldn't it be great to make Impel Down his own home too?

With enough power, achieving such a feat wouldn't be an issue.

So, Luo Ning set a small goal: to first reach Oliva's level and transform Impel Down into his own territory.

"What is this... this guy... what's going on? why the needlegrass, the sword trees... are useless against him?"

Seeing Luo Ning completely ignore the sword trees, needlegrass, and even the poisonous insects around him, the prisoners in the sword forest were stunned.

However, they had little strength left at this point.

Hunger, fatigue, pain, and excessive blood loss gnawed at their nerves. After each execution, some wouldn't be strong enough to survive and would remain in the sword forest.

"He wounded all the jailers! Run!"

Some of the smarter prisoners' eyes lit up at the sight of the heavily injured jailers.

"Well, you lot just reminded me I can't let you run amok"

Taking a look at these prisoners, Luo Ning didn't intend to let them go. He might not have liked Marine, but pirates were a whole other level of scum.

The last word died on Luo Ning's lips as the ground rumbled. Rocks erupted from the earth, one by one, until they solidified into cages, effectively trapping the prisoners.

"Bastard! Why are you hindering us? You're a prisoner too!"

The imprisoned figures, on the verge of collapse, had harbored hope of killing the guards and escaping. Now, they found themselves locked down again, thanks to this one bastard.

"Is there any conflict in that?"

Luo Ning, ignoring the erupting curses behind him, leaped down the hole from the second floor without a word.

"What the hell is this guy up to?"

The guards in the monitoring room were freaking out. Luo Ning's actions were utterly incomprehensible.

Since Luo Ning left his cell, the body count had been surprisingly low. No guards were dead, only some of the brainless Brugley goons who relied solely on brute force.

The other party hadn't even released the other fugitives to cause havoc, and now here was Luo Ning, somehow controlling the would-be escapees. To an outside observer, he might have been mistaken for a jailer.

This entire sequence of events had left them utterly baffled.

Now, Luo Ning had jumped straight into the second floor of Wild Beast Hell. Shouldn't a fugitive want to escape? Why go deeper into the prison?

"Screw it," the jailer in the monitoring room muttered. "Report it to the deputy director. This guy didn't raise much hell, and at least he's not breaking out. We can't handle this psycho anyway. Let higher-ups deal with the headache!"

The report on Luo Ning went up the chain, but Director Magellan was currently indisposed - is still in the toilet, to be precise. So, the situation landed on Deputy Director Hannyabal's desk.

"Someone reported that the fugitive went from the first floor to the second floor. What is going on?"

Hannyabal was leading people to catch up at the moment, but after hearing the report from the jailer in the monitoring room, he was completely dumbfounded.

The fugitive went deep, which he had never encountered before.

"Hold on," Hannyabal interjected, a sly smile spreading across his face. "If this man creates a scene, won't it reflect poorly on Magellan. Perhaps this could be an opportunity..." His voice trailed off, his ambition glinting in his eyes.

The jailer stammered, "D-Deputy Director! You shouldn't speak so openly!"

"Also, if the other party has a certain influence on the director, you, as the deputy director, will also be affected!"

The jailer next to Hannyabal had nothing to say. The chief of his often exposed his own ambitions.

That's fine, but Hannyabal's ideas are often different from ordinary people. Everyone knows about Magellan's situation. Now Hannyabal is responsible for this matter. If something goes wrong, Hannyabal should be held accountable.
