Chapter51-The One-Eyed Lich King!

The situation unfolded much as Lucas had anticipated. 

When Baron learned of the circumstances, he didn't scold Lucas. 

Instead, he even smiled and said, "Albertus was thoughtless, I hope you won't mind. Since this heritage is so important to House Carter, we naturally shouldn't obstruct you. However, if you wish to obtain the Crimson Demon's heritage, you'll still need to pass the trial, and I'm afraid I can't assist you with that."

Hearing Baron's words, Lucas was overjoyed and didn't take the latter part of the statement seriously. 

He quickly expressed his gratitude, "Thank you, Chief Baron, for your understanding. After today's events, I will surely bring my elders to House Fairfax to express our thanks."

Baron simply smiled, saying nothing more, watching Lucas's figure enter the Bones Tower.

Albertus scratched his head, puzzled, "Uncle, are we letting him off too easily? Aren't we making it too easy for Lucas?"
