Do you have Delusions of Persecution?

"This battle armor is very powerful, but it seems to be no match for that creature," Luther said as he watched the battle on the screen.

Inside the base, the air was torn apart. Although David and the Zero Suit were not significantly different in strength, it was clear that David was gaining the upper hand with a simple attack, and the battle armor couldn't withstand it, gradually retreating step by step.

"The Steel Soldier's abilities are more than this,", seeing that things were a little different from what he thought, Sam Lane's face darkened.

According to their assessment, capturing Superman with the Steel Soldier should have been a straightforward and simple task. If it weren't for the secure and careful neural interface experiment that would take at least six months, he wouldn't have needed Luthor to be involved.

"This guy seems to have a more powerful physique than Superman, but the outcome won't change."

If these two were of the same alien species, this person should be more mature than the younger Superman. Not only did he possess abilities that even young-looking Superman did not have, but also had a more formidable physique.

"It's impossible for flesh and blood to contend with the creations of steel!" he thought for a moment and said with strong confidence.

"Even if he gains the upper hand momentarily, it's because John is not yet familiar with the Zero Suit."

The individuals of flesh and blood can get tired and injured, but the Zero Suit is different. So far, the Purple Light Man hasn't caused any harm to the Zero Suit.

When John becomes familiar with the controls and gradually unleashes the full potential of the Zero Suit, both of these suspected alien lifeforms will be captured.

"I hope so."

Luther frowned in the face of General Sam's sound words.

"I don't want to invest a lot of my effort and money and end up with nothing."

"Go, catch him."

The soldiers assumed that Clark was getting up from the ground, unable to stand and powerless, but in reality, he was just adjusting to his weakened body.

Bang!

The back of a gun slammed fiercely into Clark's neck, attempting to knock him down.

Clark retaliated with a backhand motion, and the fierce soldiers were sent flying like weightless balloons, tumbling several meters. Several of them tried to tackle him with custom-made handcuffs but were easily knocked to the ground.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

"Open fire!"

Seeing that Clark still had the strength to resist, the soldiers swiftly raised their rifles and pulled the trigger.

A series of deafening gunshots followed as sharp bullets pierced the air, emitting a whistling sound, and shredding Clark's clothes into tatters.

Clark's body remained unharmed, and he let out an angry growl. He charged forward, using his bare fists to knock down the soldiers.

It was shocking enough that someone could resist bullets with their bodies.

However, compared to the intense battle between David and the Zero Suit, Clark's fight seemed like a child's brawl.

Every punch and kick created shockwaves that extended for dozens of meters.

The Zero Suit's functions were absolutely overpowered, far beyond human comprehension. However, it was facing David, and the terrifying kinetic energy attached to each violent attack from the armor was easily absorbed by him.

John Corben's fists felt like they were hitting an endlessly deep ocean, and it was extremely uncomfortable.

He manipulated the Zero Suit through neural control. The suit became an extension of him, but it also required him some time to become familiar with it.

"Are you toying with me, alien freak!"

John Corben was sure that he was getting better at controlling the suit as the battle progressed, and the suit's functions grew stronger. However, this guy didn't know how he did it, actually managed to increase the strength of his punches and kicks accordingly.

Even though his strength had doubled since the start of the battle, he was still at a disadvantage.

His voice grew furious as he continued to rain blows, but each one was effortlessly absorbed.

What drove him crazy was that David didn't pay much attention to him at all. During the battle, David only occasionally glanced at the Zero Suit he was wearing. It seemed that only this powerful battle suit was worth his attention. As for the person piloting the suit, he wasn't worth mentioning and was not qualified to talk to him at all.

"The Zero Suit doesn't have any long-range weapons installed on it. Besides being a prototype, the main reason is that human technology cannot find weapons that can match the power of the armor's fists, except for nuclear weapons," Dr. Owens observed on the screen in the underground facility, his mouth open wide in horror.

He had thought that the most challenging step was John Corben's neural interface with the suit. As long as it was successful, dealing with the alien creature's attacks should no longer be an issue.

But the fists that tore through the air and demolished skyscrapers seemed like weak attacks in front of the opponent, and they couldn't even make him take a step back.

"If this doesn't work against him, how are we going to deal with him? Drop a nuclear bomb without any regard for anything?"

The scene before his eyes simply illustrated that all conventional human weapons were meaningless against this suspected alien. He could easily wreak havoc in major human cities at his will.

Without much effort, a few more of these powerful beings from this alien race and conquering this planet would be as easy as a game.

Dr. Owens couldn't help but pray that the terrifying figure before him was not an alien.

'If it were Diana, who hasn't tapped into the power of her bloodline, and if she didn't wield the God Killer sword, she would also be in a tough battle against this suit,' David thought, a hint of surprise in his eyes. The kinetic explosion equivalent to a thousand tons of TNT blasting, caused the silver-gray suit to create two deep trenches on the hard concrete ground as it retreated.

The thrusters emitted flames, and John Corben immediately launched another fierce attack, flying at David like a fearless warrior, with steel fists tearing through the earth.

Buzz!

Two purple energy beams shot through the sky.

"It's useless; your energy can't harm me!" John Corben shouted, manipulating the suit to withstand the searing and terrifying energy, charging forward with powerful impact. He swung his fist down.

David received his attack without any reaction, and the earth-shaking force effortlessly sent him flying again.

John Corben, wearing the Zero Suit, had the power to conquer a small nation single-handedly, but in front of David who was slightly serious, he looked so weak and feeble, like a mantis trying to stop a chariot, unable to withstand his attacks.

In mid-air, the remaining purple energy on the surface of the Steel Suit was absorbed and disappeared like water being soaked up by a sponge.

David's eyes captured a similar scene once again, and he confirmed that this suit was made of Prometheus metal. He was not that surprised, and there was some thought in his eyes.

'Prometheus metal, also known as Promethium, is an almost indestructible alloy invented by one of the richest people in the DC world, Steve Dayton, mixing titanium and vanadium in a mysterious proportion.

Part of the body of one of the Justice League members, Cyborg, was made from Promethium.'

David continued to engage in combat with John Corben, who charged at him relentlessly like a tireless fighting dog, David used his fists to completely overpower him.

If it were just hard metal, it wouldn't be worth his attention.

David didn't need any weapons to enhance his combat abilities; his powerful physique and powers were his strongest weapons.

Bang!

His fist, composed of flesh and blood, came crashing down like a mountain descending from the sky. The ground within a dozen meters of the impact shattered and sank. John Corben was almost pounded into the ground, kneeling on one knee, his teeth grinding audibly as he struggled to withstand the blow.

He looked at the mysterious face hidden within the purple light, his expression resembling that of a wild beast as he roared.

"This suit was created to eliminate all threats to Earth from aliens. I am the ultimate weapon to deal with creatures like you!"

Why was he wearing the world's strongest alloy, forged with almost the pinnacle of human technology, and yet he couldn't defeat a person with no protective clothing or weapons?

"If I can't defeat you, what's the point of going through five years of hellish training to wear this priceless and expensive suit?"

John Corben exclaimed angrily, pushing away David's fist and leaping forward. His body moved like a missile, aiming for David's chest.

"Alien freak, none of your intentions will ever succeed."

"Don't talk to yourself.

You are assigning alien identities to others without authorization and acting as if you're guarding against some conspiracy."

David felt that there might be something wrong with this person's mental state, so he extended one palm to absorb all the kinetic energy from the attack that could collapse a mountain and slammed John Corben back into the ground.

John Corben, unwilling and furious, tried to get up again.

Bang!

"Do you have delusions of persecution?"

A fist, like a meteor falling from the sky, struck him on the head, sending him back to the bottom of the pit.

"Have you forgotten who caused all of this?"
