Passing through an invisible veil, David finally found Paradise Island.

"The scenery here is truly like paradise."

Especially after passing through the gloomy world outside, fierce storms, and raging seas, over here, the inside was cloudless for miles, with the sea and sky merging into a pure and unbelievable blue.

Chirp chirp!

The wind blew gently, and seagulls glided gracefully through the sky, calling out.

Compared with what he had just experienced, it felt as if it had all been an illusion as if he had suddenly crossed into another world - a paradise.

"A man?"

Diana, who was casually sitting nearby on a cliff, blinked in confusion and stood up from the cliff.

Doubting if she was seeing things, she saw an outsider entering Paradise Island from the outside.

Thunk!

Diana, adorned in a gold battle skirt and a starry diadem on her head, leaped off a several dozen-meter-high cliff, landing on the beach like a cannonball. Her long and graceful legs absorbed the immense force of the fall, maintaining perfect balance.

"Are you a man?"

She observed David with curiosity and delight as if encountering a novel creature she had never seen before.

"Short hair, no bulge on the chest, an Adam's apple on the throat, strong features - just like the men in the scrolls."

After thousands of years of monotonous existence, something novel had finally entered her world.

[Diana's curiosity +85, delight +81...]

"Of course, I'm a man."

With a crown, battle skirt, and a golden rope around his waist, David showed a hint of surprise between his brows and smiled.

He never thought that the first Amazon he would encounter upon reaching Paradise Island would be Wonder Woman herself.

He had considered the possibility that Wonder Woman might have left the island, experiencing different adventures under the ripples of time he had caused, traveling elsewhere.

"Is this so unusual?"

"No, there are many men, but this is the first time I've seen one. There are no men on Paradise Island."

Diana looked surprised.

"How did you get here?"

"Is it because, as Mother sometimes worried when looking outside at night, after thousands of years, the divine power of the God-King Zeus is waning, and the magical barrier might not be able to protect Paradise Island for much longer?"

She inspected David from head to toe, her gaze repeatedly focusing on his Adam's apple and his face, muttering excitedly.

"Men seem even better-looking in person than in the scrolls. But why don't you have a beard?"

Diana's face showed puzzlement; it didn't match what she had seen in the scrolls.

"Because I'm not old enough."

Being asked why he didn't have a beard; David couldn't help but think of eunuchs in the palace. He responded with a slightly annoyed tone to the innocent-looking Wonder Woman in front of him.

"How old are you then? Three thousand?"

Diana curiously mentioned an age that, in her eyes, would still be young.

The Amazonians were an immortal race; everyone here pretty much outlives Ra's Al Ghul.

'He bathed in the Fountain of Lazarus for years, paying the price of a twisted personality for eternal life. Everyone here has it like some roadside food.'

A flicker of something passed through David's eyes.

Especially for Diana, born from the union of King Zeus and Queen Hippolyta of the Amazons, a few thousand years of near-endless life meant nothing to her.

"Having an immortal race sounds wonderful."

He smiled with a hint of a curve on his lips.

As long as he took down the Amazonians, the people on this island would forever provide him with the emotional points he needed, a never-ending supply.

"Wait a moment, are you powerful enough to run on water?"

The look in the man's eyes suddenly seemed somewhat sinister. For some reason, a chill ran down Diana's spine. She retreated a step, assuming a defensive stance like a startled lioness.

"Mother has been worried about the weakening of the magical barrier and if Ares has found us. Could you be Ares?"

Her naive mind found a reasonable explanation.

David gazed at the look of untouched innocence in Diana's eyes and was speechless for a while.

"Diana, stay away from him!"

The sound of galloping hooves resonated as a queen, still charismatic and dignified, rode on horseback. She led a group of hundreds of Amazon warriors, each exuding a strong presence, approaching.

She sensed that the magic barrier had been triggered; someone had intruded upon Paradise Island.

Furthermore, the reaction of the magic barrier was intense, indicating that it was not an accidental mortal.

Hippolyta felt as though she faced a formidable enemy. She hurriedly led a part of her army to the broad sea cliffs, only to find her daughter standing alongside an outsider just a few meters away. Her expression changed dramatically as she shouted,

"Archers, prepare!"

A group of valiant Amazonian warriors raised their bows, their muscles displaying graceful yet powerful lines as they drew their strong arms. Accompanied by the sharp sound of bowstrings, arrows gleaming coldly were aimed at David by the seaside.

In the rear, the dust kicked up by galloping hooves and a procession of fierce-looking female warriors kept arriving.

"Outsider, reveal your identity!"

Hippolyta drew her sword, glared furiously, and pointed her sword at David as she yelled.

Since he wasn't a mere mortal, the possibility of someone arriving here by accident was quite small.

She hoped he was not Ares's vanguard searching for Paradise Island.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

Two arrows shot at David's feet, a warning. He raised an eyebrow and ignored them, as if he them as nothing more than two twigs stuck into the ground.

[Vigilance from Hippolyta +10.1, Hostility +5.1... Vigilance from Antiope +6.5... Vigilance from Cristela +2.2...]

A series of emotional points refreshed as reminders swiped like a waterfall, almost overwhelming David.

The emotional points offered by this group of Amazons easily surpassed what Clark could provide at the same time when he was emotionally intense.

"Paradise Island, It seems as I came to the right place."

Even right now not all the Amazons are present here.

Whoosh!

Diana flicked the Lasso of Truth at her waist, tearing through the air, and flung it fiercely towards David. Her intention was to assist her mother and fellow Amazons in restraining the outsider.

"So, this is the Lasso of Truth?"

David extended his hand and lightning-fast caught the rope. The Lasso of Truth, emitting a golden light, wound around his arm. He examined it curiously, his eyes flickering.

Legend had it that the Lasso of Truth was crafted by the skilled artisan god Hephaestus from the golden girdle of the Earth goddess Gaia. It was unbreakable and unyielding.

"It's said that not even the mighty Hercules could break it, and whoever's ensnared by it can only speak the truth."

Originally intending to wrap David's waist and bind his hands, Diana was shocked to find her Lasso of Truth being caught. Surprise appeared on her gallant and beautiful face.

"Since my childhood, no one on the island has been able to match my speed, not even my mother."

"Outsider, who are you?"

Seeing David grasp the Lasso of Truth, the Queen who had ruled over the Amazon tribe for millennia, being valiant and wise, seized the opportunity to shout out and ask him questions.

"What's your purpose for coming here?"

Diana exerted force, attempting to pull David over and subdue him beneath her feet. Unexpectedly, her efforts didn't budge him an inch.

The Lasso of Truth clung to him like it was attached to a mighty mountain peak.

A peculiar sensation filled his entire body, compelling him to open his mouth and speak the truth—a force difficult to resist.

"My identity? You don't need to know that..."

Diana increased her efforts, and David, taking advantage of the situation, flung the rope away and shifted his gaze to Hippolyta on the cliff. It was as if he hadn't noticed hundreds of bows aimed at him.

The Lasso of Truth, one of the magical artifacts wielded by Wonder Woman in comics. Even Superman's nearly indestructible physical defense has been broken, but the Lasso of Truth has almost never failed.

He didn't doubt the abilities of this rope.

Seeing David break free from the rope, Hippolyta's expression froze, thinking that she wouldn't get any useful information anymore.

But David's next words made her complexion change in an instant, and the group of female Amazon warriors glared at him with fury.

"...All you need to know is that I've come to conquer you, the Amazons."

Standing on the beach, David slowly spoke, revealing the purpose of his trip.

As his words fell, the air turned silent. In the next moment, the influx of emotional points accelerated, like an out-of-control flood. The hostility of thousands of enraged Amazons surged like a tide!

"Arrogant! Kill him!"
