6 unfortunate me

Now:

So today started my holidays. Hooray me.

It was not that I didn't like to work. But still, I was safe. It was Saturday and when I got my holidays and I was extremely happy. I thought of going to Shanghai, to meet my grandparents who usually moved there for sometimes and to stay in our house, which abandoned for 2 months. That house was very big , so I was a bit scared.

I woke up to the noise of my alarm , as you know.  Tomorrow I will fly to Shanghai and it's Wednesday. I rolled out of my bed . And heard my mom shouting my name from the kitchen. I shouted back telling ' I am coming after taking a shower'.

I took a shower and went down.

" Good morning Nat" mom said.

"Morning mom. Why were you shouting my name ? " I asked.

"Oh , your dad asked you to go to his office with this file " mom said as she handed me the file.

" He forgot? " I asked as I stuffed some bread in my mouth.

" Yeah and take a coffee for him before going. Okay ?" She asked.

"Okie dokie" . I agreed.

I wasn't stressed out that much for going there cause it is just a matter of an hour or 2.

I ate my breakfast, got ready and went out. I wore a sleeveless pitch black jumpsuit. My choice of attire changed a lot after I went to USA. I used to wear skirts a lot and sundresses too.

I took my car and drove to dad's office. It's not like other days. Other days , driver used to drive me to office with our office car. Today I am freeee.

When I reached , I saw there were more cars than usual. Somehow it didn't stress me.

I parked my car and went out. I was wearing my heels . I walked through the garden, stood in front of the door , and suddenly it opened. I saw it was our guard. He greeted me so I did it back. I walked through the door to my dad's room. I knocked, he answered back.

" Hey daddy." I greeted.

"Good morning princess. How are you doing? Sorry for that" he said

" I doing good. And it's fine. It's just a fact of an hour. " I said as I sat down.

" Mmmm I wanna say something and tell me you won't deny. Okay?" He said hesitantly.

" First Tell me what is it." I Said with a serious voice.

"No say you won't deny"

"You have to tell me what is it at first"

"Listen if you deny I am gonna.. I am gonna .. I am gonna take away your car"

" Tell or else I'll buy myself one cause I know your credit card pin "

" You dare"

" I did it before"

"  if you deny , just remember this will cost our company a lot . Alright? Our company is a bit down becoming a multi billionaire company. Okay ?"

" Really? You didn't say it before. Omgggggg our company's gonna become a multi billionaire company?? " I said as I was jumping happily.

" Yeah . But don't say it to anyone . And only if you agree. Will you ?"

" Everything for you, daddy " I said with a huge smile across my face.

" Okay so you need to go volunteering with a celebrity because the person who was going with him resigned suddenly" he said and my smile fades away.

Wowww. My luck . Nice . Very nice. Excellent. Perfect. What the hellllllll. This escalated very very very quickly.

"What ? But why? Why me?" I asked . I could feel my blood pressure was increasing.

"It happened very quickly. We can't just hire anyone in a day or a week. Okay. So you're doing this"

I sat for a minute or 5 . Many things going through my mind including some curses.

I didn't get the courage to ask with who.

I swallowed hard. " Alright . Just for you. Whoever it's I don't care. I really don't care. I will act like myself. No extra respect. And just help them. Deal?" I said.

" Deal. thank you sweetie. And nobody asked you to care" he smiled

I gave him a sad smile and then sighed.

"You have a meeting with that person tomorrow at 3pm. And then you'll discuss and Tell what they have to do. Is that alright?" He asked.

"It's alright" I smiled.

Dad and I gossiped for an hour and then it was time for me to go. I thought of taking a cup of coffee from Starbucks. My favorite cappuccino.

I  drove to Starbucks. As I stepped out I could smell my favorite coffee.

The guard opened the door. I found myself a seat at the corner. I placed my bag there and went to order. There were two lane. I was behind two woman waiting for my turn. It was my turn I ordered a cappuccino and a cookie.

After I got my food and drink, I went and placed it on my table. Halfway I was drinking, I realised I ate my cookie.

I stood up to take 2 cookies this time. Those were extremely tasty cause I didn't ate it before.

I ordered 2 cookies and they handed me a plate.

As I turned to go my seat, a stupid giraffe spilled hot coffee on my foot. It was flaming hot and I was wearing heels . So mostly my foot is burning right now. As I gritted my teeth and looked up, my eyes were locked with some familiar blue green eyes , which I regretted looking right at that moment.

I processed the whole face and recognised it's the same person I see in my nightmares. That exact same person.

I felt to congratulate my good luck for successfully failing. Noice.
