56 Hero 03 - First Encounter

Just before I departed from Wibane Kingdom to the lower dimension, there are big changes here as my country suddenly surrender to the biggest nation in the East Continent, Sakura Empire after the empire started its civil war just within less a week. The new Empress been announced as they changed the policy of the diplomatic relationship and began to invade the other side of Eastern continent that not belong to the empire. While on it, Wibane Kingdom fall into the victim and forced to accept the Residency Consulates as the advisor to the king and government, with the 'actual' power in the administrations of the nation.

Although not much change in the country, surprisingly my house has been granted the Duke rank, and as the heir, eventually I will ascend to the throne as new ruler after I finish my study in lower dimension. The royal family been scraped privilege and rank, while the corrupt nobles been punished without mercy. 90% of nobles lose their title, killed and imprisoned, depends on their crimes. Only few noble families, including my clan, survive in the drastic changes of government. I even granted more territories, by the way, handled by my mother representatives from EA company. From the kingdom, it seem that my country downgraded into dukedom, but hey, its belong to me now.

As a Duke-in-waiting, I given the special treatment, as I begun my journey to lower dimension for my further study in cultivation. I departed to new royal city of Sakura Empire by using the Zeppelin-like air balloon carrier for preparations to travel to my destination. Of course, my childhood friends, Micu, Yaya and Hyeo Yu travel together with me. They also join me for the study of cultivation world, make me happy.

Although I said that we are childhood friends, only Micu is same age with me, 7 years old. Yaya is my senior, and she actually 12, and Hyeo Yu, a fugitive from her country and save by me, aged 11. In Wibane, the elementary school educations take 6 years, unlike some country, and the children started their education in aged 6. I graduates earlier, thanks to my past memories and education backgrounds, thus I helped Micu to finish same time as me. Hyeo Yu who missed her education in her country, has to learn from the start, but lucky she very smart and managed to graduate in the same time. Yaya, my senior, actually skip one year to graduate, but because of her health in past, she started her education in age 7. So, she end up finish as same age as normal people.

The first time I ride the air carrier which look like the past warship called Zeppelin, I thought that the aircraft must be created by the person who been reincarnated in this world like me. But, Yaya explained to me that the air carrier belong to Oda clan, who the current head, a beautiful woman, now appointed as the new Prime Minister of Sakura Empire. I wonder the ancestors of the Oda person who created this is a reincarnated people like me. I have experience in airplane ride, but this is a new one for me.

We actually departed one week early before the gate to lower dimension opened. The flight take a day to arrive at our first destination, the miracle city, Wisteria. The region owned by the Prince Consort, Archduke of Wu Clan, also the ruler of Bavalotia. Surprisingly, the city itself is the modern design, with tall buildings, tar roads, monorails, electricity installations, and many more. This Wu fellow guaranteed by me, obviously an earthling person, just like me. The air carrier parked at the large building. After arriving at the landing space, and off we go from the aircraft, guided by the helpers, to our accommodations.

We given the very nice room to rest, but we too excited to sleep after checking in. Those girls really excited, though Micu not that surprise like I thought after looking those buildings from the window or having first time trying the out of world technologies here. Well, Micu quite a cool beauty girl but sometime she can be scary too. Sometime I can feel her killing intent when the other girls touch me accidentally but when I look back at her, she didn't show any annoying or hatred face at all. Just cool and calm face. Maybe, it's my imaginations.

We been provided the meals, which also out of world taste, although the foods actually just a normal thing in my past world. We didn't allowed to take tour in the city, but still I can see the nostalgic views, in my room window, and after my eyes begin to feel heavy, I decided to sleep and quit my day. By the way, the girls in other room together, making me feel lonely tonight but as my sexual development still not yet functional, so I guess it's okay.

After a night rest, we having our breakfast in the special hall, before guided to the special teleportation device room, which will send us to Bavalotia city, the first territory owned by the Archduke Wu. His Majesty the Archduke is the person who developed the city singlehandedly, literally, and granted a noble rank because of his achievement. Actually, the cost of using the device is not laughable, as the fund could been used to buy a big house in the city easily. We arrived at the city within a blink of eyes, teleported by the big machine.

Surprisingly, the place that I stand now is not that big as Wisteria, but this city much crowded and buzzing with the business. The city protected by a big wall, and has two of it, one surrounding the inner sanctuary, and the other covered all the city. It's reminding me about the legendary anime, which the story of a city in the big wall, having a big titans, attacking them. I really wanted to enter the inner sanctuary, but not allowed by the administrations. But, we given free time to enjoy walking through the business district, which is the place that open for public and outsiders, and having a blast. From the snack stall to the mega shopping mall, we managed to visit those within a day. I even spend my allowance to buy our needs here. But, to spend here, you need to convert the coins into the currency here, using a paper money. Using the Wu person face as the theme of the money design, it's really reminding me about my past world. As expected, Micu didn't react much like others even after entering the majestic shopping mall-like place that almost identical to the building in the most popular Arab holiday destination country, based on my old memories, when one of my girlfriend brought me there for holiday in the past.

Well, I am a bad boy in my past life you know. The girl who I mentioned just now, she already married by the way, but became my sugar mommy, supported me financially until my yandere childhood friend leak my picture with another girlfriend. Well, she also cheated her husband, so we ended up breakup without any grudges or fights. Just sometimes, she will called me and we have one night stand, later on live our life like nothing happened. I regretted my past life, but I will redeemed it in this life.

Next day, we continued our journey by walking through the destination. We walked for 3 days on the special highway that cross the dessert straight to the free city. Although I just become a duke-in-waiting, I am nobody in the free region Elohims, so no one will attend me in that place. But our walks by no means hard time, as we enjoyed it. Every 5 kilometres of the highway, there are stopping places where there are toilets and some stall located there. In 50 kilometres, there are accommodations for travelers to stay. The prices are reasonable and sometimes more cheaper than my country, so the travellers won't feel much trouble with their finances.

In the afternoon of third days walking, we finally arrived at the free region Elohims. We went to the big building there, but not like Wisteria or Bavalotia city, the architecture of the building more like western medieval time in the Earth. There are no electrical appliances and technologies, hundred percent of it like ancient times. We need to write down our name and details, later on, taking some writing test before passing the examination to enter the lower dimension realms. Almost all the people who wanted to enter the cultivation world have to go through it, yet some of the participants, I mean those with the status and belonged to higher dimensions will exempt from this.

Only after three days, which nearly the time of the gate closing, we finally managed to enter and sent to the lower dimension. Before that, we have to stay in the crowded area in the Elohims, but luckily, the EA company lend us their staff rooms. Although not comfortable or can be compared to our stay at Bavalotia or Wisteria, but still I thankful for this. By the way, the cost of living here are damn too high, but fortunately we already packed our foods from Bavalotia for few week supplies. I given spatial ring, like some dimension pocket of blue robot cat gadgets, can place many things easily, so I cramped those supplies and necessities for us in our journey.

When we arrived at the lower dimension, we were told to register at the special administration buildings before allowed to enter the cultivation schools. We need to make our ID card and measure our status before we allowed to roam around the place. When we done doing those procedures at the registration counter, the receptionist man give us the cards with a bright smile.

"Welcome guys, you all are quite brilliant groups. Just remember to be careful or you die before trying...." The receptionist praises us but at the same time, warning us.

"Thanks..." I said it.

"Especially you kid (pointing at me). Sometimes genius die early...."

"...? What?" I surprised that he said it to me, even though it understandable if you looking at my stats - not like the normal one.

"S rank person like you will be the target of the jealousy and envied by others. Just be careful. By the way, you girls are not bad at all. All of you are A ranked, just how fortunate..." The man keep praising us, while also warning us the trouble that will be faced by us. The receptionist even brings us meals on the house, so we feel comfortable here. After few moments of fun here, we left the place and went to the motel that recommended by the registration place for our stay here. The opening ceremony will be held tomorrow so we need to find ours today before enter the dormitory of our chosen schools. The rooms quite expensive, by I can afford it, although I given the discount after the referral of the administration officials.

The waiting day finally arrived as we gathered at the open space and grouped by our talents. I participate the S ranked group, which much lesser than other groups. All the participants have to pass the three test, the first is strength. The participants have to punch the big stone placed in the stage, and there will be a number appear from the stone, recorded the mark of the participants strength. There are three person who manage to broke the grading stone into the pieces. The first person is from higher dimensions, the heir of Chow royalty. I become the second person, but the third one is the most shocked one, belong to the lowest ranked talented person. I heard that he is the same age as me and from upper rank of noble family in the middle continent. The participants who have lower than average points will deported from the place immediately. Cruel as it sound, but this is the reality of life. The test continued until the next day without rest. I happy that my fellows childhood friends manage to pass the examination without having hard time.

The third day is the second exam that test the participants will. They have to climb the hell pagoda and reach the highest floor that they could. There are 30 floors, and I managed to ascend until the 20th. The Chow royalty person managed to climb until 19th before ejected automatically by the hell pagoda, but the third person who destroyed the grading stone with the lowest person manage to broke the records, the first person ascending the highest floor only by the first try. The second test also failed the participants, whose that couldn't climb more that 10th floor, the highest qualifications this year, thanks to the broke record person. My fellow childhood friends doesn't let me down as they easily past the 10th floor.

The third test started right away after the second exam ended. This test called brave, as the participants have to face their most scary things in their life and forced to stand it within an hour. We need to enter the isolated cave, and wait inside it while attacked by the hallucination magic that could broken the people mind. I faced my past yandere childhood that scared me out of my pants, and even make me wanted to pee. I managed to past the test thanks to my current childhood friends. The test quite horrible but no one failed the exam. Just some of them in horrible state, but overall, nothing ever changed, dramatically.

I been visited by few headmasters to encourage me entering their schools personally. I flattered with those invitations, and finally make my decision to enter the Ice Kirin Legacy school, which also joined by my childhood. Even though I have all elements type, I choose to master the water and wind, duo elements cultivation because the advice of those experts. People who wanted to conquer the 7th elements of cultivation will facing the failure as they need more time and effort. Duo elements is the best bet as most of the powerful person belongs this kind.

The Chow royalty person entered the Magma Dragon School but I didn't know what school that the most shocking person belong to. The patriarch of Ice Kirin Legacy come personally to welcome me and my group, giving me special presents while appointed me as one of his special apprentice. I greet my new master, before he left me to attend his work. We been informed our room in the dormitory, and ready to go to the our new place as to learn here in this five years. Just I want to do that, a person stands in front me, stopping me.

"Hey kids, how dare you show off in front of me..." Say the same age looking kid like me. The kid actually aged 80, and that person is the Chow royalty member in the Chow planet of higher dimension. For your information, in the higher dimension, time move differently, with their aged 10 times slower than us.

"Nope, that not my intention..." I reply his statement.

"Let's have duel, shitty kid...." As expected, the kid calling me kid challenge me into fight. Even though I may be talented person, his cultivation level still higher than mine.

"No, I don't want to have any duel, sir...."

"Coward...." He laughing like typical cheap villain try to provoke me.

"Hey, why don't you pick your own size?" Another person, a boy who shocked this examination event, said those words, like a cool evil person. The cheap villain surprise with his appearance, but smile after that, as he looking at another target of his hatred.

"Well, well... What we have here... A talentless person with surprisingly high ability.... A grandson of failure person, a Wu family huh?"

"Wu? Wu Tian?" I shocked after listening his word, introducing the most influence person right now in the middle dimension, the true ruler of East continent and heir of the most busiest city in middle continent as well the owner of five noble ranks in different countries. That person actually the lowest ranked talent? What the hell? Although the results of the examination showed different things, but why my most revered person right now belongs to lower side?

"You regret later after insulting my grandfather..." Wu Tian showing his angered face. The person who conquer the continent going to show his prowess!
