4 IS IT NOT CLEAR THAT I AM BETTER THAN HIM?

...

"When are you planning to move in with me?" Haru asked as he lied down on Ame's bed. They're inside her bedroom.

"Honestly, I think things are going a little too fast. Don't you think so too?" She said as she sat by the window and looked up at the wind chimes. "I can't seem to keep up."

"I understand. Moving on is hard after all." He comforted. "No matter how strong a person is, love will always be an Achilles heel."

"Hmmm." She felt touched, knowing he understood. "I've decided! I'm moving in the day after tomorrow."

"Already? I thought you said it was too fast for you?" He sat up, surprised by her decision, but at the same time, excited.

"So what? No matter how fast, I have to keep up right? It's not like I can cry over him forever!" She said as she looked at him. "He's not worth it." She murmured.

"There are so many men out there better than him...Ehem." He said as he held his chin up.

"And I suppose you mean yourself?" Ame noticed he was being an airhead. "I don't know..." She looked at him up and down.

Pop!

Yes, that was the sound of his airhead popping. "What do you mean, 'I don't know'? Is it not clear that I am better than him?" He said defensively.

"Okay. Okay. Whatever you say." She burst into laughter.

"What are you laughing about?" He asked, annoyed.

"Nothing. It's just...You're too cute, insisting you're better." She explained between laughs. Haru realized how childish he was acting and immediately flushed red. He laughed and scratched his head in embarrassment and stood up.

"Well, it's probably time for me to go, I have a lot of work left to do." He said as he looked at his watch. "I'll pick you up when you'll move in then."

Ame nodded. "Oh wait!" she stopped him. "I forgot." She dug into his pockets.

"What are you doing?!" Haru was surprised. "Got it." Turns out, she was only looking for his phone.

"Eh, what are you doing?" He asked.

"We haven't gotten each others numbers have we?" She said as she scanned their phones. "And done." She smiled as she handed him back his phone. "I'll send you off then." She pushed him out of her room.

"Hey, first you stop me, then you push me away?" He said as he put his phone back. They've reached the front door, Haru entered his car. "Be safe." Ame waved goodbye as he drove off. Haru looked through his phone's contacts and the first one that popped up was '♡WIFEY♡'. He laughed to himself, 'How cute.'

Ame went back to her room, lied on her bed and looked at her phone, she renamed Haru's contact to '♡Hubby♡'. She remembered his flushed face and laughed to herself. She looked through her phone, and she found Yuan's number. Her smile was wiped away. For a moment she was silent, then she deleted his number.

'Are you sure you want to delete this contact? Once deleted, it can no longer be retrieved' She was hesitant at first. 'Yes or no?' But she did it anyway. 'I wish deleting someone from your life was also that easy.'

...

Two days went by, Ame had already started packing. She just moved back in and now she's moving back again. She didn't have to pack up much because she wasn't completely settled in before their meet up yet. She was too busy accepting jobs again and hadn't completely finished packing out. But this saved her a lot of time.

"Ame, Haru is here to pick you up. We'll see you off in a bit. Let the maids carry your stuff out." Ame's mom said as she leaned on her door and looked around the room. "Looks like you're almost done."

She nodded. "I can't believe it. My precious just came back and is now being taken away again." Her mom said with open arms and she rushed to her embrace. "At least I'm being taken away by someone who you allow to." She giggled and looked up at hsorr

"I'm sorry if you're not happy with this but..."

"...it's between two families, I know."

"Thank you for understanding. I hope he takes good care of you. Otherwise we're taking you back no matter what's on the line!"

"Don't worry mom, he's good."

...

Haru was sitting in the living room, waiting for her to finish packing when Ryo and Hana came across him.

"Brother-in-law, are you here to pick sis up?" Hana asked as she stood behind him. "Yes, I am." Haru turned to look at her. Hana was probably nine years old. She looks a lot like Ame except for the eyes.

"Don't bother him Hana. I'm sorry brother-in-law, she's cheeky." Ryo, finally catching up to Hana, lifted her up. "Let me go! Let me go! I wanna ask if brother-in-law brought me something!"

"No." Ryo was about twenty-one years old, a year younger than him. He looked a lot like his father and inherited his mother's eyes.

"Actually, I did bring something for little Hana." He smiled. "Really? What is it?" She ran to him as soon as Ryo put her down. Haru brought out a box of chocolates. "Waaaah, chocolates! My favorite!" She exclaimed. "Thank you brother-in-law, you're the best!" She hugged the box of chocolates. "You're welcome." He said as he patted her on the head.

"Hey, no chocolates for you before you eat your meal." Ryo took the chocolates from her. "Aw come on brother! Just a piece?" Hana pleaded. "No." Ryo walked off with it and put it in the fridge.

"Brother, you're so mean!" Hana crossed her arms and sat beside Haru. "Don't be upset. I've got something else for you." Haru comforted.

"Really?" Hana's face lit up. Haru took something out of his pocket and put it up on her hair. It was a bow. "Oh! What is it?" Hana held onto it. "Don't remove it, look in the mirror."

Hana ran off to find a mirror. "Wow! It's looks pretty on me! And it's the same color as my dress!" Hana twirled happily back to the living room. "Thank you brother-in-law."
