5 she was right?

HAPPINESS POV

"The boss in here." Someone shouted for everyone to hear. It was a masculine voice and it was probably Ezekiel.

Everyone quickly got silent and hid.

They were preparing for a welcome party for the boss. Welcome party? Then Ezekiel was right, he must have lived here before.

Happy had gotten that information from the kitchen. Gossips flow in the kitchen light a calm river.

He wasn't rich before and had gone abroad for greener pastures and succeeded. He was back to his native land.

The name of the boss wasn't disclosed though but she doesn't need to worry as she was going to find out once and for all if she knows the man.

"Shhh." The grumpy woman who Happy now knew as Ms Harrison, hushed. Gosh she was huge. Her shoulders were very broad and one would wonder what did her husband see in her that he had decided to marry her.

Although inner beauty is far more unique than outer beauty. Perhaps that's what he saw? She couldn't judge now as she does not know the woman well yet and you can't judge a book by its cover can you.

This even Ms. Harrison learned today. She was surprised to see how hard working Happy was. She had lifted heavy things to help out. The kitchen staff had sent her on unrelated errands for which had nothing to do with the food they prepared but Happy went anyways. She needs money for her family and from now on she was going to be humble. She had vowed.

With the apron tied around her waist and her printed dress bouncing along, she went on the errands.

Ms Harrison had saw the impossible task she was given yet she did all correctly that she removed her from kitchen duty to decorations with her.

"How could your tiny figure take carrying all those things?" Ms Harrison had asked and Happy smiled. "She definitely have determination and you probably could use the money so when the boss comes I'll talk to him about hiring you."

Happy had leaped with joy after  hearing that from her.

She might have a job. And it might pay well.

*****

A figure walked slowly into the wide opened gate.

His footsteps echoed softly as he advanced forward.

His face was covered by darkness and his appearance except for the definitely expensive Gucci clothes he wore nothing could be seen.

For some reason, Happy became anxious. She wanted to see his face badly. She wanted to know if she knew him from before? Why was his mansion similar to theirs? Why did he keep his identify a secret until now?

Who was he?

She bit her fingers as she anxiously wait for him to step into the light. Everyone waited from their hiding place.

Apparently, his mother was the one who planned for this welcome even though she wasn't her but was still abroad.

She had wanted her son to have a welcome home party.

"Pst." Happy heard behind her. She turned around to where the interruption was coming from. A brunette waved at her under a table. Her facial features were not that clear but Happy recognized her.

How could she not? This was the person who have been by her side in difficult times. Rin.

A smile was evidently plastered on Rin's face.

She smiled back.

"WELCOME BACK!!!" Everyone shouted. Everyone except Rin and Happy.

Some lights that were turned off were on back and everyone rushed to the guest...or boss they had arranged the party for.

He was surrounded by people which made it impossible for Happy to see him. Even his Rolex watch was not in sight anymore. Damn it.

He must be a down to earth person to allow his employees greet him like that. Happy was sure he doesn't know most of them there who are welcoming him.

Yet "Thank you very much." Was heard and happy was sure the boss said that.

"Oh it was not us actually but your mother who planned your..." Happy zoomed out.

She tired not to give up hope in seeing him. There was going to be lots of chance for them to meet. If Ms Harrison kept to her words and speaks to the boss to hire her permanently then she might even see him every day.

She tired not to be sadden.

"Hey!" Rin said beside her. "Wanna go check him out? I heard he's only twenty six. He's only two years ahead." Rin nudged Happy.

"How do you suppose we do so with so many people around him?" I asked.

"Oh please. This party is like feeding the poor. Not only workers are here but beggars as well. They're here for the food and very soon we'll have our chance." Rin snickered.

"Well I'm not too hyped up to see him." Happy lied. "Let's just go around the corner and sir yeah?"

Rin rolled her eyes. "As if?" She remarked with both hands of her index and f**k you fingers together as she said: 'His return,'

"Is all what people are talking about today. Plus haven't you seen this place? It's giving my crepy and ghostly vibes."

Happy nodded in agreement. Yes she really wish to see who had copy the style of their former mansion. Her former home.

*****

She sat at one of the tables, in front of her were varieties of dishes, dishes she haven't eaten in a while now. Actually she haven't eaten. But she doesn't have the appetite to.

Why was she so eager to see their  boss?

Her feminine intuition tells her she hasn't seen the last of him. Well she'll get to meet him but why does her body quiver thinking about it?

"Happy." Someone said behind her. She turned to see Ms Harrison. "Good news I told him about our workers who he could hire and included you. And you were all accepted." She announced.

"Oh and he asked to see you." Ms Harrison added.

She was right.
