Chaos spread throughout the village.
Ninjas riding on metal gliders flew around in the air dropping explosives that blew up the streets and stores of the village.
The Third Hokage was now stuck inside an impenetrable barrier on a roof fighting off his former student and current traitor of the village, Orochimaru.
The Hokage in training, Tsunade was fighting off a muscular man with a wild mane of black hair and a small beard. His upper body was bare, his shirt recently destroyed from the punch handed out by Tsunade herself. However, no matter how hard the medic hit the ninja from the Sky, he kept on healing and getting stronger.
Sound ninjas terrorized the villagers and the ninja on the ground, with bloodshed on their paths.
Konoha ninja had been prepared for a possible ambush for the past month, however, just two days prior, there were orders for the ninjas to focus more of their attention on the outskirts of the village in preparation for possible ambushes from the forests.
This change in strategy at the last moment resulted in the response time for a majority of ninjas being delayed, causing a higher than necessary death toll among civilians.
Meanwhile, genin and chunnin level ninjas were focused on evacuating the civilians and the non-combatants to the safe sites around the village, which were protected by a small percentage of jonin and special jonin ninjas.
Moreover, in the center of the village, at the former site of Chunnin Exams, a massive demonic raccoon made of sand smashed and thrashed everything around it as a blond-haired kid, and a white-haired middle-aged man tried to contain the threat.
"Jiraiya, we need to move the One-Tail out of the village right this instant. If this goes on any longer, there won't be a village left to protect anymore." Naruto yelled as he used his chains to attack and limit the movements of the tailed beast, all the while helping Jiraiya to set up a sealing formula.
"I know. I'm trying to set up the restriction formula but these damn pests keep annoying me." Jiraiya cursed as he kept blocking the distracting barrage of kunai shooting from the sky.
"You know what. Let me quickly deal with the gliders and flyers. Kage Bunshin No Jutsu." Naruto yelled out as almost a hundred clones appeared in a poof of smoke behind naruto, each holding a few dozen kunai.
"Everybody. Listen up. Railgun the annoying flies' asses, ok?" Naruto ordered as all the clones looked up with a smirk before nodding silently. In the next second, a hundred clones disappeared from the spot, moving across the village, while three remained behind, taking aim at the dozen gliders pestering the Sealing Squad.
"Wind and Lightning Style Combination: Railgun" These words echoed across the village instantaneously, followed closely by a loud sonic boom, before everything went silent.
The constant sounds of bombs dropping to the ground stopped, stunning the Sound and Sky ninja that attacked the village.
"What the hell type of technique is that? The armored gliders were pulverized in an instant!!" The enemy ninja muttered in shock.
"Now's our chance." Konoha ninja shouted as they capitalized on the opponent's distractions before attacking and killing the enemies who were distracted. This resumed the fight between the Sky and Sound shinobi and the Leaf.
"Good, now we can focus on stopping this beast," Jiraiya muttered as he slammed his bloodied palm on the huge scroll he always carried around, as multiple streams of black ninja ink rushed out around the maniacal One-Tails.
"Nine-Heavens Restriction Seal" Jiraiya yelled as the ink traveled up the body of the beast, wrapping around him like chains, relieving some load from the golden chains holding it back previously.
"We gotta wake him up." Naruto pulled back his chains to a moderate length before he rushed close to the huge body of the beast, attempting to wake Gaara up.
"Not so fast!!" Naruto heard before a huge gust of wind blocked his way, pushing him back slightly.
"You have to wake up your brother. If he stays like that for a bit longer, he will not have a chance to change back!!" Naruto yelled as he attempted to run up, however, he was once more pushed back with slices of wind from the war fan.
"You don't have to pretend to care about the enemy here, tree hugger. We came here with a plan, and that is to pulverize Konoha to the ground and take over the land. I can't have you mess with the plans to bring prosperity back to Suna." Temari reasoned as she worked fast to keep Naruto away.
"You really are an idiot. Let me guess. Your Kazekage brought up this plan to annex Konoha and you guys' waged war.
Did you stop to consider the repercussions of such actions? There is a reason we use the chunnin exams to replace actual war. Let's pretend you win, and you take over Konoha's land, then what?
The other lands will see you as easy targets, which will drag them over and a new battlefront will start. You basically lit the spark of the Fourth World War because of the shitty plan of an idiotic pedophile." Naruto argued with the blonde woman, all the while still attempting to run past her.
"Who are you to call my father a pedophile." This triggered Temari. While she might not like her father for the harsh and borderline torturous childhood, she still respected him as the Kazekage.
"Who said your father was a pedophile? I'm talking about the man that's currently pretending to be your father. We found his corpse a few days ago en route to our village from yours. He's been dead for more than two months now." Naruto revealed crucial information that Jiraiya had shared prior to the final round began.
"What!!! No. Impossible. That's not possible." Temari was shocked, causing her to be distracted long enough for Naruto to get in close and knock her out cold.
Oompf. Temari promptly fell to the ground in a crumbled heap, before Naruto looked down at Jiraiya and another Naruto running around the now restricted One-Tails.
"Is the formula ready yet? I think I stalled for enough time." Naruto's clone that was fighting with Temari asked the original that was laying down a seal.
"Yeah. Good job, I'm done as well.
Fuinjutsu: Flying Thunder Formation Seal" Naruto ran through a series of hand seals before slapping it down on the sealing matrix drawn on the ground.

With a lightning buzz, the restricted figure of Shukaku instantly vanished from the spot, stunning the various ninjas that had their eyes following the battle from afar.
"Where did the beast go? That was one of our sure-fire ways to deal with the village." Many low-level enemies blurted out in panic before they were promptly silenced forever by the Konoha ninja with maximum efficiency.
"Good job Jiraiya, holding back the tailed beast for so long. Now that it's outside the village, I can go all out. How about you go away and help those in the village? I think the old man needs some help with your teammate." Naruto cracked his neck and knuckles as he looked far away in the distance as a poof of smoke and lightning revealed the gigantic figure of Shukaku looking around in confusion.
"You sure you got this?" Jiraiya asked in worry.
"Don't worry. I got this. I just couldn't go all out cause I would cause more destruction to the village than the invaders. Go, before it's too late." Naruto reassured the man before he released the movement restriction seals on his body and headed speedily to the One-Tails.

"Yo, Shukaku. How does it feel to finally be released?" Naruto arrived in front of the beast who was turning the forest into a desert with the massive amount of sand it was expelling.
"Hehehe. Brat, I have to thank you for knocking that brat out cold. Hehehe. It's been so long." Naruto heard the high pitched voice of the beast, which only served to annoy the blond.
"Yeah well. It's time that you go to sleep once more. You got a lot of free time for now." Naruto commented as he charged up his chakra, as his yellow, blond hair turned slightly golden with the influx of the chakra.
"Try me, bitch." That was all Shukaku said before he puffed his belly out and began pounding out wind bullets in Naruto's direction.
"That won't work, big guy." Naruto taunted before he whipped out his chains to gain height in the sky, and threw out a few high-level wind and lightning-style jutsus.
"Stay still!!!" Shukaku yelled in annoyance as Naruto kept dodging the wind bullets and the sand shuriken the beast threw out, all the while tanking the attacks from the blond. While his body may be all chakra-made sand, it still hurt when it was blown off.
"Kage Bunshin No Jutsu" Naruto created a few hundred clones in the air, all holding metal rods a few meters in length as they surrounded the beast.
"Uzumaki Style: Chains of Domination" Naruto OG yelled out loudly, as two chains rose up into the air, twisting together, before turning into a long slender spike.
"Naruto Style: One Thousand Railguns." The clones of Naruto all aimed the metal rods at Shukaku's body, wind chakra coating their surfaces, making them sharp and aerodynamic, while their palms lit up with sparks, creating a strong electromagnetic field between them.
"EXPLOSIONNNNNNN!!!" On Naruto's command, a thousand railguns and the Chains of Domination all rushed towards their targets, while Shukaku roared loudly, the sand all around the forest rushing up in a tsunami wave, attempting to block the projectiles as well as push away the blonds.
BOOMMMMMMMMM
A huge explosion shook the grounds as the shockwave pushed back the trees and the clones, which disappeared in a cloud of smoke, while Naruto used his chains to stay stuck to the ground, near the target.
"Did I get him?" Naruto asked himself as the smoke cleared, revealing the lone figure of a redhead lying on the ground, breaths shallow, but unresponsive to the carnage around him.
"Phew. That was tough. Now I gotta 'guide' this lost soul back to the light. Sigh. It's too tough to be a messiah." Naruto sighed as he went through a few hand signs, before summoning a sealing scroll, that basically replaced the crappy sealing formula Suna used to trap Shukaku with a really strong one that would allow Gaara and Shukaku to communicate as equals.
Once the seal took effect, Naruto saw the chakra of the One-Tails rush into Gaara's body, slowly starting to heal his wounds, but just as quickly stabilize into a new equilibrium.
"Damn. That barrage of railguns really drained my reserves by almost a half. I gotta be careful with them in the future." Naruto commented before he stuck a seal on the boy's head, effectively putting him in a really deep sleep for the very first time in his life.
"I wonder what the others are up to?" Naruto wondered out loud, just as his danger sense rang up to eleven.
BOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
A huge explosion rocked the lands as a massive crater bigger than the size of Konoha was created behind the Hokage Mountains, revealing a gaping scar on the once proud mountain behind the four faces of previous Hokages.
"What the fuck was that!!!!!"

Really bad at writing fight scenes, so if you guys are confused, don't worry. I'm confused as well.
So finally, the invasion of Konoha started. The Land of the Sky allied itself with Orochimaru and Sunagakure, seeing as Shinno had contact with Orochimaru in the past. I remember Orochimaru saying he got one of his main medical techniques from Shinno. So, it's fair to say that the Land of the Sky could ally themselves with Orochimaru considering their goals of crushing Konoha align together.
Also, this week will probably be the last week that the chapters are inconsistent. My symptoms have been getting better, but they are still present. Also, I need to catch up on uni stuff I missed out on because of COVID.
