18 It’s possible to summon gods?
We arrived back home after flying back relatively fast and we were greeted by Willoa at the door.
"Welcome back."
"Hello Willoa, was there any trouble?" Mother replied.
"No, everything was fine whilst you were gone."
"Thank you."
We walked inside and I got attacked by my siblings. Every single one of them jumped at me shouting, "WELCOME BACK!"
"Calm down, you'll make me fall over." I said scratching my head.
"Did you miss us?" Violet said with a big smile.
"Not really." I replied.
"Your so mean. I'm not letting go now."
"That's fine, I can still move." I said as I waddled with Violet clinging onto my right arm, Azazel on my back with Aiden on my front, they looked like a vest, and Leo clinging to my left leg.
Mother was laughing at me as I waddled off to the bedroom. After waddling to the bedroom I noticed that the nest was gone and it was just mother's bed.
"Where are you lot sleeping?" I asked.
"We've got our own separate rooms. Well I'm sharing a room with Aiden because I prefer it but we got the biggest room!" Azazel said with excitement in his voice.
"Did Willoa say you could?"
"Yes.." Leo quietly said in his timid voice still clinging himself onto my leg.
I waddled back to the door and shouted down the hallway.
"Hey, Willoa! Do I get a room?"
Willoa walked towards me and replied with a, "yes of course you do just follow me. You'll have to decorate it though."
"Ok."
We walked down the hallway where I noticed a room I hadn't been in before and another one directly next to it. The one with a wooden door was the further one and the one with a wooden door and a metal rim around it was the closest door to me.
"This is your room. There is a training room next to it." Willoa said opening the door to the room and leaving.
"No goodbye? How nice of you." I mumbled to myself. I don't get why she doesn't like me, if anything I shouldn't like HER because she was going to let me and Violet die. So strange.
I walked into my room, which was the further one, and it was just a bed at the back centre and sofa facing the left wall with a rug in front of it and a fireplace on the left wall. Behind the sofa was a wardrobe.
"This is good I guess."
On the right wall there were two doors, one at the back of the room and one at the front.
"Can you lot get off of me for a second. Go to your rooms." I said.
"Say you missed us first." Violet said with a pout.
"Okay, I missed you all." And with that they ran off giggling.
I entered the door at the front of the room and it led me to a bathroom. There was a large bath, well hot spring, at the back and a door which led to a room with a mirror and a cabinet on the wall next to it. The mirror had a sink underneath and a toilet to its side. Back in the hot spring room there was a rack with three towels on it.
I exited that room and went to the door at the back of my bedroom. It led to a simple study room with bookshelves on the walls and an oak desk at the side of the room.
'Good to know I have my own private study.'
I decided I would read some of the books that were in the study. I picked out a book with a red cover and had writing in cursive font saying 'The art of summoning.'
'Summoning? Sounds like it could be dangerous but really useful at the same time.'
I opened up the book and there were a bunch of creatures from different realms that could be summoned and contracted with. There were two types of contracts you could use. The first and best type was a contract where one holds all the power. The 'master'/ the summoner can order the 'servant'/ the summoned being to do whatever they want and the 'servant' cannot go against their orders. The other and not so great type of contract is one based on consent in a way. The one who has been summoned will be asked to do something by the summoner and the summoned being can choose if they want to do it or not. This contract isn't a very safe one unlike the 'master and servant' one. Of course the summoned being can also refuse the summoners contract and leave their realm.
I was flicking through the book and just scanning the contents and I stopped on the last page. It read as follows 'There is a theory out there, one which hasn't been proven because of its difficulty. The theory is that if the summoner has enough MP and mental power they can summon beings from the realm of the gods, maybe even the gods themselves.' I couldn't be bothered to read the rest but.. summoning gods. Humorous really. Who would have the guts to do that let alone think of wanting to summon them here.
'I guess I'll ask if it's possible to summon the gods to the goddess of reincarnation when she enters my soul realm but that's for later.'
I put down the book on my desk and got up, leaving my study and my bedroom to go check out the training room.
The training room had many shelves of weapons all along the walls and a bunch of training equipment. There seemed to be every sort of weapon here daggers, scythes, axes, bows, giant hammers, you name it and it'll probably be here.
I decided to test this all out tomorrow as it was already late and the sun had gone down when I checked. I went back to my room and took off my clothes putting folding them and placing them on the sofa before getting into bed.

I was now in my soul realm looking for the goddess to ask if it really is possible to summon gods to our plane of existence.
Eventually the goddess arrived and looked at me rather happily.
"You told me I might die today from three kids. They were foolish. Two level six's and a level seven. That'll kill me? You must've been joking." I said crossing my arms.
"I wasn't joking. You just changed the future. Originally you were meant to fight the boys and cripple them enraging their father which tries to kill you. You avoided it though, my darling~"
"Huh well that would've been fantastic now wouldn't it. Also could you stop calling me darling."
"Nope, darling~" the goddess tried to tease, "no reaction huh."
"I've got a question, I read a summoning book and at the very end it said about a theory saying it might be possible to summon the gods. Is that true or are they just getting way ahead of themselves, tell me."
"Well that actually might be possible. No one has ever tried before but that doesn't sound impossible. Did you want to try summon us or something?"
"No. Well I've never tried summoning so I never considered it."
"Mhmm. Okay then, anything else?"
"No that was it."
"Really?"
"Really."
"So you think I'm here to just answer your questions?"
"What else are you here for then. A tea party in my soul realm? A game of chess?"
"Nothing of the sort. Anyway as payment for answering your questions I want you to do some stuff in the mortal realm for me."
"Which is.."
"Just some small things but I want you to be the queen of the dragons."
"Not going to happen. Why would I ever want to do that."
"Hasn't she told you?"
"Who?"
"Never mind, she will tell you eventually."
"Can't you just say it."
"No can do my darling~ anyway I'm off now. I've got business to attend to in the realm of gods. Have fun~"
The goddess then disappeared just like that and I soon woke up.
