2 Maximillan Agreste

I don't know what just happened but when I opened my eyes, I woke up in a diverse room and a lot of maids looking at me.

What is more stunning is when I looked at the mirror my face, hair, body, and everything is different!

I'm in a distinctive body and in a different world.

Prior, I unknowingly hop off the window to know if I am still imagining. Well, no.

So now, I'm currently at 'my' room today with the maids and the Holy Priest, who is healing my broken leg with his Divine Powers.

"All done, my lady. I'm going to call your father." I looked at him in confusion. "My father?" I asked.

"Well, Its His Highness Ma-"

Someone suddenly barged in the room. "What's going on?"

A young man with a dark aura walked in. "Y-your majesty, may the sun of the empire rise upon you." The Holy priest and the maids said in unison while bowing to him.

"Raise your heads." The man said.

This guy has dark hair, dark-red scary eyes, pale skin, and tall. Really tall.

"So, what happened to her?" he asked coldly.

"S-she jumped of the window-"

"What was the maids doing?" he cut the doctor's words.

No one answered. He turned around and walk away.

"All of you, prepare to die." I looked at him in shock. "Hey, hey! What?!" I shouted.

He stopped and looked at me.

"How dare you?! You can't just say that bullshit. I'm at fault! I unconsciously jumped because I thought I'm still dreaming." I exclaimed.

They are all silent and everyone is looking at me, bewildered as if I said something wrong.

"You dare to talk to me like that?" the man said while looking at me angrily.

Well, I'm not scared.

"Yeah! Who are you to kill these innocent maids?"

He walked towards me slowly.

"Who am I?" I nodded confidently.

He was about to say something but a man around my age came in.

"That's enough, Claude."

"Hurting my sister again will not satisfy you."

He continued while leaning against the door and arms are crossed.

"C'mon sis, I have a gift for you. By the way, Doc, Father is busy in the main palace. So, don't bother interrupting him."

Without knowing he was already in front of me, and he suddenly lift me in his arms and walked out in the room.

"See you around, in law." He added.

"We are not yet done, Agreste." That was the last words that 'Claude' man said.

"Hey, girl from another world. Where is my sister?" he asked.

I looked at him. He believes me.

"OH, who are you first?" I said, he is kind of intimidating.

"I'm Max, Maximillan Agreste. That guy earlier is your fiancé, Claude, Claude De Ville." He introduced.

He really looks like a Devil though.

Their names are kind of familiar too.

"Name?" He asked.

"Anne." I answered.

"Okay. So, for now I will call you Maxi because many people will be suspicious, and you are in my sister's body." He said.

"Oh, I don't know where your sister is. I just woke up in your sister's body." I spoke.

He just nodded.

My eyes roamed everywhere to see where we are. The place is beautiful. Very beautiful.

He walked towards the bench and put me down.

He sat beside me, crossing his arms again.

"Any questions, my lady?" he asked.

"That 'Claude' guy, is he really your sister's fiancé?" I spoke.

"It's a political marriage," He paused.

"Mother doesn't like my sister so the only way she could get rid of my sister is to marry her to the crown prince." He continued.

"Why doesn't she like your sister?" I asked.

"Because Maxi and father is a psychopath. Father's name is Maximus Agreste. People call my father 'The Grim Reaper', he got that alias because every battle that father attended he wiped out all the enemy's knights." My eyes widened.

"Damn, that's scary." I blurted.

"Then there is my sister, Maxlilian Agreste. Her former friends call her Max Li."

"Wait, former friends?" I asked. "Yeah, All of them are dead. She killed them because sister caught them bullying me."

"Why did they bullied you?" I asked.

"Because I'm just a little kid back then." He answered.

Her sister must be protective to her brother.

"I was 6 that time and my sister was 8. The news spread throughout the empire until the news reached our parents as well, father was delighted but mother was distressed. That's when my mother started to hate my sister." Max's expression became dark.

"Our parents hurriedly went home. As soon as my mother saw my sister, she immediately slapped her. I tried to block myself to shield my sister and father pulled my mother away from sister. Maxi was just on the floor, looking down. Then Maxi suddenly just laughed hysterically. That's when my sister became just like my father." He said sadly.

"That's... sad." I said. "But it seems like you and Maxi still close."

"Yes, we are. What are siblings for." He said while looking at me.

I nodded.

He stood up and lifted me up again. "Let's go back to your room. For sure he's not there anymore."

I wanted to stay because the place is beautiful and I still have many questions to ask but I didn't resist because I am already at his arms. I'll just ask him next time, I guess.
