71 Road to Juggerbar

Aeldrya kindly escorted us, Dabla included, all the way to the Adventurer’s Guild. Unlike other days when she would be doing Guild work, this time she was armed to the teeth and wore a thick cloak. Considering it was summertime, it did not seem like the comfiest of clothes to be walking around in. She also carried a sort of backpack, filled with goodness knows how much stuff.

“Why are you carrying all that stuff around?” I asked her.

“I already told you I have business elsewhere.”

“Fine… whatever…”

It did not take us long to get to the Guild. As expected, the old man was already waiting for us there.

“Did you change your mind and decided to come as well?” he asked when he saw the elf arriving with us.

“Not a chance. I simply came to make sure you take these three far away from here. Besides, I will be going on a journey myself.”

Aeldrya turned around and started walking away towards the Northern Gate.

“May I ask where you are going?”
