1 I'm a Pillow?!

'Where am I?'

In his line of sight, Seth saw an unfamiliar ceiling. The white ceiling was clean and neat, one glance and he could tell it was properly maintained.

Seth wanted to scan the surroundings but to his horror, his body wouldn't respond.

'Why is my body not moving?!' He shouted but no sound came.

'I also can't speak? What happened to me?!' Seth felt like fainting.

'Did I got kidnapped and was experimented on by a mad scientist?! I knew it! I shouldn't have brought a hooker at home!'

Seth's mind was in a mess. He wanted to escape and call the police, but much as he tried, his body wouldn't budge. He felt like he was paralyzed.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, like a flash flood, a huge amount of information flowed into his mind. Seth's mind turned blank as countless information flooded from all sides.

A few moments later, he slowly regained his mind.

'Is this a Pillow Inheritance or something?' Seth was stunned by the information he received.

He actually died! And transmigrated into a different world, as a pillow!

Seth unconsciously mumbled in his mind. The world was no longer the earth he knew. 200 years ago Earth experienced an enormous change, literally.

The world expanded a thousand times. Mountains and trees that reached the sky, rivers were like oceans, while oceans were inestimable like a void in space.

Similarly, living organisms evolved into gigantic beasts. Creatures such as ants grew to a size of a tall building. Large birds that covered the sky. And other large creatures whose height they couldn't even estimate. All they could see were their lower limbs!

Humans were terrified. Despite the worldwide evolution, they remained unchanged. If it weren't for the man-made objects around them still the same, they would have thought they had shrunk. Fortunately, the Gigantic Beasts wouldn't arbitrarily slaughter people. The Gigantic Beast's enormous body made them disinterested in humans, as a person would behave towards ants.

However, Human civilization was still destroyed. The earth and sky shook as the Gigantic Beasts quarreled and battled with each other.

It was an unholy mess.

Cities were trampled, Millions of lives were taken. They couldn't do anything but watch gigantic beasts crush their families and their homes. They were powerless. Hot weapons couldn't leave a mark on the gigantic beast. While nuclear weapons could only deal a small amount of damage.

Fortunately, after years of hiding underground, a group of people suddenly discovered an ancient ruin that rewrote humanity's fate.

With the use of "soul cores" of Gigantic Beast—situated in the center of their brain—humans could awaken unique abilities.

This ability could allow them to use an ancient technique called "Goliath Puppetry". No one knew where it came from, or who invented the technique. But they couldn't be bothered by such thoughts and studied the technique urgently.

Goliath Puppetry can allow them to control and modulate the corpses of Gigantic Beast like a puppet!

With their new hope, all nations banded and use every last of their power to kill a Gigantic Beast. And by a stroke of luck, they somehow managed to kill one Gigantic Beast.

Since then, the Age of Goliath Puppetry started.

190 years quickly passed, in the present, May 15, 190 A.P (Age of Puppets).

Humans have populated the operation Goliath Puppets. With their ability to control Gigantic Beast, humans fought and killed countless Gigantic Beast that terrorized their lives.

They then conquered large regions and build large strongholds across the continent—called Goliath Continent. Nevertheless, the continent was minuscule compared to the humongous planet.

There is still more to discover amidst the might of gigantic beasts.

Seth was briefly stunned by the world where he got reincarnated.

His full name is Seth Diaz, an average office worker on a small-time company.

Last night, or more like last life, he brought a hooker to his house. Now, to his surprised, he became a pillow in a world of Gigantic Beast and Puppetry.

The Gigantic Beast and Goliath Puppet made him intrigued and wanted to know more. But, he only received few pieces of information about the world.

He mainly obtained the information of his new 'body'. Seth learned that he has a peculiar ability, exclusive to him only—a puffy pillow.

He could acquire the ability on whoever sleeps on him!

Seth was ecstatic about this profound ability. But there was one thing...he was an immobile, feeble pillow!

'What's the point?!'

'What am I going to become then? A powerful pillow?!'

'Not to mention, abilities are only used on puppets. They couldn't be cast independently. So it's pretty much useless on me,' Seth wanted to cry but he really couldn't. He felt like a eunuch having four wives

Seth could only hope he would receive another pillow inheritance in the future. The actually useful one.

His thoughts suddenly got interrupted when he heard a door creak. Seth felt his mind go empty from nervousness.

'Please be a beautiful girl,'

Seth chanted frantically. He would be in peace if a beautiful chick owned him.

Seth waited nervously for the person to appear in his line of sight, but shortly, his mind came to a halt. Loud and erratic footsteps. Almost instantly, a bad hunch rose in his mind.

In the corner of his sight, a big burly man slowly walked towards him. The burly man then removed his clothes.

Seth could see his huge junk swaying left and right as he walked.

The burly man was quite huge, about 6.0 feet tall with broad shoulders and thick muscles. His face was tough and strict like an army instructor. Seth could also see a green tattoo of a monkey-like outline in his upper back.

The burly man made his way to the clean white bed with a white puffy pillow that was thoughtfully placed.

'Noooooo!' Seth felt a weight in his face as his vision got blocked by a shiny bald head.

Seth wanted to die this instant. Fortunately, he can't smell, or else he would find every possible way to kill himself.

"That damn woman," The man spoke with an irritated voice. Seth calmed down as he listened attentively. He knew the language was still English in this world, so he could understand the man.

It made him speculate about something. 'Is this the future? or an alternate world?'

Seth listened carefully so he could obtain new information. But a few moments later, he got bored listening. All the man did was spout curses to a woman called "Jane". He seemed to be rejected by her.

Not long later, the man was already snoring.

Seth's consciousness slowly blurred. However, he wasn't surprised, it was his ability activating.

Whenever someone slept on him, his mind would sync with theirs. His ability would then invade their souls and copy their abilities.

Seth was awakened by an unpleasant yawn. The weight was lifted. Seth slowly regained his consciousness and noticed words carved in the corner of his mind.

Seth has another mind, it was one of his abilities. Seth calls it a void mind. It was like a void in space on which he could store his abilities in this new mind.

In the corner were words painted in grey. Seth touched the words and he immediately understood the ability.

'It could modulate the Goliath Puppet's eyes into the eyes of an eagle. Which are known for their excellent long-distance vision,' Seth nodded and didn't feel much. He couldn't use it anyway.

'I wonder if this could be considered good,' Seth said as he came out from his void-like mind.

'Is he doing exercise?'

Seth couldn't see the burly man anymore, but he could hear someone puffing.

'Hey! what are you doing!'

As if to answer his question, Seth abruptly saw the burly man approaching. Still butt naked.

Seth was horrified when he saw him 'exercise' in the bed.

'No, No, No, Please God No!,'

If only he has eyes to close. These thoughts appeared in his mind as the bed shook.

He could only go to his void-like mind 3hours a day. In the void mind, he can block his sense from outside.

Since then, Seth vowed he wouldn't arbitrarily enter his void mind. It should be marked as 'emergency only'.
