**Chapter 5**

The Lizard is dead now, how should I go down? I don't know how to fly though.

Ugh! I have to do this now or else other monsters will steal that lizard to me.

Should I go down while flapping my wings to slow down the landfall?

"I dont think it's safe to do that"

This is a big problem, just going down is already a problem and I should also carry that lizard here at the cave.

"This is a problem if you can't walk"

When I say I can't walk doesnt mean I can't walk totally, it's just that my steps is so small.

I have to trouble myself going down jumping, It took me 1 hours to go down jumping and here I am at the dead lizard's body.

"I'll try pulling it first then"

"Heavy, this is heavy, I can't even move it"

I should eat this here now.

Wait, Raw, this is raw right? can I even eat an uncooked food.

Just by seeing this food makes me want to vommit already, and I supposed to eat this.

I'll try tasting it first before judging.

I, then went forward into the dead body to taste the meat.

Hmmm, I can taste the meat but I don't feel disgusted eating it.

"I'm really an omnivore bird right now"

*sigh*

I can only eat a little meat from its body, I think if I portion it correctly, its 1 out of 6

and I'm already full.

There still time before dusk, I should go pick fruits at the trees.

Suddenly I saw something.

Oh! an apple tree at the right in front.

"How, how can i climb that!"

"I'm a useless bird, shit, I will try flying tommorow so this useless bird become a strong bird."

*sigh*

I should find a foothold then jump to it, then peck the tree for the possibility of falling down.

I was just jumping to something that can be a foothold and soon here I am at the top now.

"Finally~ only one fruit is the amount I can hold, I should pick a light fruit then for me to carry it easier, a small one should suffice, I think since I am a bird"

I, then jump down at the top of tree while flapping my wings to slow down the landfall.

Then climb the mountain jumping while i have an apple in my beak.

After arriving at my cave, I immediately go to sleep putting down the apple beside of me.

The next day

"Yawn, another day for my adventure as a hatchling, no? A nestling? I'm a fledgling right now."

(Fledgling a young bird that is just starting to fly) I learned this when my classmate spout it out when he see a fledgling.

I look at my apple to see if there are problem's in it.

"Seems like it doesn't have one, still good."

"I'll try to fly now then since the cave is large I can practice here"

Then I try to practice flying as I flap my wings again n again, but, I still not yet even know how to fly.

Then after 2 hours I went at the entrance of the cave and found my next prey, the lizard yesterday is nowhere to be seen.

"Maybe it's already been eaten by other monsters."

After I say that, I just saw a spider and it's big, much more bigger than the lizard.

"I wonder if this spider can block or evade my ice that I will shot into his body."

Then I got down the mountain jumping because the spider is so far for me to aim at it and strike it.

Soon I managed to get closer.

I can see the spider here now, I'm hiding right now in a bush.

"I wonder what is it doing?"

I, then follow the spider while hiding myself.

The spider is walking I mean crawling and headed to a dead rabbit.

"Oh! A dead rabbit sounds good for a meal."

"I dont want to eat this spider I will get poisoned by eating it."

Then after the spider approached the dead rabbit, I immediately use an ice howl to stop its movements for a time, then immediately shot an ice needle to its body causing for the spider to scream loudly that it can be heard from far.

"You've gained 3 exp"

I immediately pull the rabbit....

(it was just a little bit larger to me) and get out of that place since monsters will approach because of the spider scream.

"This rabbit is so heavy"

I'm pulling it while walking backwards since I can't jump because the rabbit is heavy.

"Damn"

"I'll eat it here and now then"

I ate the rabbit's meat at the bush after I'm done eating all of it, I went back to my cave but suddenly while walking in the forest I saw a pack of wolves attacking a large boar.

Hehe, I'll wait for them to exhaust themselves in fighting.

After sometime had passed the pack of wolves win the battle, well obviously the pack of wolves is at advantage since they pincer their enemy leaving no escape route.

"The wolves are already exhausted time for a killing."
