Chapter 27: Voice

After he fled the battle the man rushed towards the direction where he was originally posted and ran towards the village 10 miles away,

before he reached the border of the village he saw two samurai soldiers guarding the gate he waved his hands signalling that it's an emergency, seeing this the two men moved aside and the gate automatically opened in which the man ran straight through it and thanked his Fellow samurai,

After the man entered the village he then went straight to the village chief's office,

Bam!

"what the!? how dare you barge into my office with no permission!" the village chief said angrily,

(The village chief is someone not so important since he's just a fat bastard(businesseman) who only likes to sit around and eat while gaining profit(fat) and has no combat experience)

the man bowed his head and said,

"Forgive me milord but this is urgent" the man replied,

Hearing this the village chief frowned and exhaled angrily while he carefully sat down,

"speak" he said while tapping his finger on the table,

"Yes, my report is that I saw a beast of sin fighting a giant" he said,

"are you kidding me you came into my office telling me that you saw a giant fighting a sin of beast you're just wasting my time aren't you there are plenty of Giants out there and you're telling me this"the village chief said while sipping on his green tea,

"No village chief, I'm not wasting your time the sin of beast is at the level of envy and that giant seems to be wearing an armor made of high quality beast material especially I sensed the aura of the beast lords in its armor" the man explained,

Hearing this the village chief could not help but spit the tea in his mouth,

"Pfft!, What?! the beast of envy and high quality beast armor materials why didn't you say so we must report this to the shogun immediately" the village chief said,

"Yes, village chief" the man answered,

As the two hastened their movements the village chief called all the servants and ordered them to get his pen and paper,

Without question the servants instantly grabbed the specific items needed by their master and presented it to him in an elegant way,

The village chief took the items and wrote the reports at an incredible speed without leaving even a single detail behind he quickly finished his work and wrapped it in an exquisite piece of Fabric in a gold and silver design which he then gave to his assistant Toga kiryuu,

Toga received the letter and summoned his messenger bird(Phantom-type spirit) and gave it the letter ordering it to deliver it to the shogunate,

After that the village chief heaved a sigh of relief since he finished the letter before he could forget everything again(temporary amnesia),

"you did well village chief" Toga said,

"thank you" he answered,

Right after they finished sending the letter they finally rested,

Ymir on the other hand finally slayed the beast and ate it leaving nothing behind,

"Ha~ that was a good meal" he said,

he then continued to walk slowly it's been 2 weeks since his fight with Hiroko and now he's taking he's leisure time and recuperating his power since it's limited,

he then walked towards the direction where he last saw the samurai and slowly walked towards that direction needless to say he encountered various types of beast around the area some are small, some are big, some are colossal, some are aggressive some are passive and many other types of beasts,

Ymir even let some small and medium sized beast climb him and use him as a resting spot before he would move again some beasts even fear him but no less it's normal for beasts to fear the strong but Ymir did not let it get into his head thanks to his training,

right after he walked for a few hours he rested and sat there motionless and in silence bringing peace in his mind and soul and thus that silence continued.

right after the messenger bird was ordered to deliver a letter towards the shogunate, it finally reached its destination and pirched itself on the window,

Kashigawa saw the bird and extended his hand in which the bird disappeared and turned into a blue dust leaving behind a letter wrapped in a fabric,

he read the letter and it only said the sightings of the beast of envy fighting the giant clad in armor of high level and quality materials which are some having the aura of the beast lords near the border of the village 300 miles away,

Kashigawa's face frowned a little since he has a score to settle with that Giant,

(Oh btw guys I know this is a bad timing but the beast of sin Ymir killed was the lowest level which only has the ability to create fire and poison and has the ability to enhance its strength a thousand fold from its original strength all stats included so there you have it. thank you for reading, enjoy)

"prepare for Battle we're going on a hunt" he said,

"Yes!" they answered before disappearing Once more,

(yes I know it's the same line as Hiroko but trust me it's different)

Kashigawa sat down and rubbed his chin he then heaved a sigh of frustration and thought,

(so you chose to come to me instead of me coming to you monster, heh! very good that makes the job easier)

just as he was lost in his own world a pair of slender and silky white hands suddenly wrapped itself around his neck and a soft yet deep voice (Aka:mommy voice) said something in his ears,

"what's bothering you my dear?"
